"I was just sitting down one day doodling in Adobe Fresco with my Apple Pencil, loosely drawing these wildflowers as line art," says Jordan. "I eventually moved the sketches into a repetitive layout in Adobe Illustrator, and I really loved how the organic flow of the pattern turned out and decided it needed a permanent place in our phone case collection."

Every Kempain Original begins as an original hand-drawn illustration. Jordan has been designing and illustrating professionally since 2009, bringing nearly two decades of industry experience to every piece in the collection. His career began in marketing agencies across Connecticut, New York City, and Washington, D.C., but his real inspiration has always been found beyond the digital canvas. A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Art School and an active outdoorsman, Jordan draws directly from his time spent in the woods, rivers, and gardens of Putnam, Connecticut, to inform every stroke of his pen.
