Made in Japan, this simple notebook was designed to create a writing experience that you will enjoy. The high-quality Midori Diary (MD) paper inside was developed in 1960 and has been continuously improved on ever since. Midori has conducted many tests using a variety of writing instruments to inspect the paper quality, including observing whether the ink feathers or bleeds, how it dries, how well the pen tips glide across the surface, how the paper feels to the touch, and so on. As a result, the paper is bleed-resistant, feather-resistant, and fountain-pen friendly, giving the user a pleasant writing experience. The grid ruling on the paper features open squares, with markings along the top and side margins to help count the squares.

The notebook has a sturdy thread binding that lies flat when open, making it easy to write. It also comes with a ribbon marker to keep your place. The cover is not a typical notebook cover. To feature the charm of the paper itself, the cloth tape used to bind the spine, usually hidden by a cover, is exposed, giving the notebook a unique look. You can even see where the ribbon marker is glued in place. The notebook also comes with sticker labels that can be used to label the notebook.

Nice, sturdy little sponge and brush holder for the side of the sink. I was afraid my sink would me too small and spent lots of time trying to find a holder for the rim/countertop area. This one is not too big but fits my dobie and brillo perfectly. My sink is a little too short for a full fledged brush so when I tried to put in the brush I use sometimes it sticks up too much. That's really not the products fault so I won't subtract the score because of it. Also, I decided to put the holder flush against the side closest to me, instead of the side or the back of the sink. If I had chosen that location, the brush sticking out might not be an issue.

It doesn't slide around or come off or slide to the bottom of the sink. It just stays put which is so unique for anything with suction cups. The only reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is quite small. I wish it were a few inches longer so i could easily fit two rags or sponges in the holder. But i have to jam them in and its not pretty. So for the price, i think it should have been bigger. Still a good product because of the functionality of the suction cups.

When I first received it and placed it on, it continued to fall so I almost returned it. However, I found a method online that worked and it has not fallen since even after all the water and soap getting near it. I’ve placed it on a stainless steel sink so not sure if the method works on other surfaces. Clean the area with soap and water and then make sure there’s no soap residue. Make the water temperature hot and “heat up” both the steel surface and the suction. While it’s still wet, firmly place the suction and make sure it doesn’t move. That should do the trick!

A tiny item that makes my life more lovely. No more yucky scrubber residue all over the counter edge, or soap leaking all over from a faulty handle. A sponge can be at hand and I can hang my cloth somewhere besides the top of the faucet. The suction cups stuck well now at first, and I can move it whenever I want. Not to big nor too small. Wire is firm and strong. Will edit if it doesn’t hold up but right now highly recommend! Edit to add: A bit disappointing that the suction cups are not reliable. Even after carefully cleaning the side of my deep sink with vinegar and washing the suction cups, they come loose about once a day. Giving them a hard push on seems to help, but not a cure. I revised the rating to average 3 stars. It really isn’t a problem in the sink.
