Or just to have an inert paper weight that resembles a pistol. With the DFCU you place it into the frame like normal, then if needed add a slide with or without barrel and guild rod. You can optionally add a trigger and even seat a mag. The trigger will not pull

With the DFCU you place it into the frame like normal, then if needed add a slide with or without barrel and guild rod. You can optionally add a trigger and even seat a mag. The trigger will not pull but the parts are now together and inert. The slide will be retained with the provided polymer take down lever. Takedown lever not suitable for live fire.

Dummy Fire Control Unit (DFCU), this is not an usable FCU and can never be modified to become an FCU as it is polymer and lacks all internal workings.
