Sideboard or buffet in the mid-century modern Italian style made by designer Osvaldo Borsani for Atelier Borsani Vardeo, circa 1950s. Originally designed as part of a full living room set by Borsani. This credenza is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany and maple veneered with a fine rosewood, all in excellent vintage condition. This fine bar features a mirrored and tinted glass upper compartment behind sliding folded doors. The bar cabinet upper interior also includes glass shelves and brass columns in a classical style. There are also two small drawers for storage. On the bottom, four dovetailed drawers are separated by a ridged, ebonized drop front bar compartment. The feet are capped with brass. The keys and locks are in working condition. We loved the versatility and elegance of this exquisitely crafted piece. It is in excellent vintage condition – the photos accurately depict the condition of the bar cabinet.

Osvaldo Borsani was a true innovator and designer. Born in 1911, he was the visionary figure behind influential mid-century Italian furniture brand Tecno. He was respected for his high-quality, functional, and pioneering designs. He was instrumental in bringing modernist to Italy while remaining committed to the Italian tradition of fine craftsmanship. This cabinet is an excellent example of his dedication and thoughtfulness – bringing together functionality and beauty.

A Lettering Masterclass
Format: Paperback
Nate Piekos is a rockstar. If you want it learn how to letter comics, this is the first thing I would buy. It’s not a fancy book, just practical step-by-step how to do a craft right.

Title says it all: ESSENTIAL!
Format: Paperback
This is a FANTASTIC book! The information may seem overwhelming at first, but it is easy to understand. As some reviewers said, it does not spend much time on hand lettering (I assume this is due to the industry going more digital as time goes on). Those who want more information on hand lettering may have to seek help elsewhere. It is mentioned VERY briefly in the beginning, I believe. It includes: step by step instructions on creating speech bubbles, tips on font creations, sentence formatting, page borders, splash/double splash page construction, creating templates that save you time in the long run, making logos, sound effects and much more. This book is a great launching point for anyone looking to start their lettering career or even for anyone that wants to gain an appreciation for an intergral and often overlooked part of Comic books!

One of the Best "Making Comics" Books Out There
Format: Kindle
Honestly, one of the best books on making comics that I've read. So well done, insightful, well-organized, and easily referential. If you're looking for the basic principles of lettering, look no further than this.
