This piece is made from tough materials. It can be placed indoors or even outdoors year round. The flower stems are 1/4 inch thick cold rolled steel, not some flimsy length of spray painted green wire. No amount of weather is going to cut through 1/4 steel. The heads are carved from 18 gage plate steel, not that cheesy mass produced junk from other countries. If the colors begin to fade over time, you can simply apply a spray can paint right over the top of the existing colors to brighten it back up. Or bring it inside in the harshest times of year for a little indoor color.

Set in pot: cover base with soil, mulch or rock and you're done.
