These stainless steel plates are designed to repair and upgrade damaged side tab attachment holes for the OEM pre-face lift 86/BRZ front bumper. Pre-face lift includes 2012-2016.

This is a new and improved design, not only to repair the broken damaged tabs on the front bumper, but to address the common 'bumper sag'. The sagging issue may be caused from the tabs not hooking onto the plastic retainer hooks. This improved design features an added metal tab on the plates to act as a 'hook' which helps the bumper tabs hook onto the retainers to improve the connection.

To install, simply sand down & clean surfaces on the damaged bumper tabs and the repair plates

This sanding process ins important to make the plastic tabs slightly thinner to counteract the added thickness of the repair plates.

Then simply glue the plates in place on the bottom side of the bumper tabs. Apply evenly spread pressure with clamps whilst it’s drying.

Recommended adhesive: JB Weld Plastic Bonder 25mL Black 50139 (not included).
