They surround us and they help navigate through life, providing short cuts to understandings, ideas and feelings. In a therapeutic relationship, the use of visual images can assist a client to get in touch with otherwise inaccessible personal realities.
Symbols is a set of cards featuring 100 hand-drawn, iconic images that have resonance for people grappling with the big questions in life. Some of the symbols evoke difficulties and challenges (Knot, Hourglass, Question Mark, Gravestone). Others bring to mind possibilities, hopes and achievement (Trophy, Balloon, Rainbow, Bridge). Some of the symbols transcend cultures; some might feel very familiar to you, others less so.
- Choose a card at random. What does this symbol mean to you? What words come to mind? Does this symbol conjure any particular memories?
- Use the cards to explore group dynamics and identity. Does the symbol have different meanings for different group members? How to members react emotionally to each symbol? What does this reveal about similarities or differences between group members?
- Choose a card that interests you or select one at random. What does the symbol mean to you? Does it suggest a story you might like to write? Who could you imagine reading your story?
- Which Symbols card or cards helps you define or describe your understanding of spirituality? Is there a card that represents mystery? Are there any cards you could draw on to broaden spiritual possibilities?
- Which cards say something about your pet likes and dislikes? Which symbols do you imagine another person would choose to describe you? Is there a symbol that sums up your relationship with a significant person in your life?
Originally developed as a tool for grief and loss counselling, Symbols is a highly versatile card set, ideal for use in teaching, creative arts therapy, family counselling and many other fields. Sturdy but uncomfortable
Color: Black
The seat itself is sturdy and easy to put together, I’ve now had the product for 8 months and had no issues wear/tear despite nearly daily use, but… it’s not comfy, at all. The seat cushion has a texture to it that scrapes at my legs if I don’t have an extra pillow on it or am wearing shorts. Additionally, the seat pillow is just kind of hard. It doesn’t give very much at all, so if I sit on it for more than an hour or two at a time my butt starts to get really sore. It works as a budget option, but invest in a good seat pillow if you plan to sit in it for any length of time.

A chair that does the job

I’m really happy with this chair overall. I wanted something comfortable, sturdy, breathable, and spacious enough for long hours at my desk when I work from home, and this chair delivered. I’d easily give this chair five stars because it exceeded my expectations in comfort, quality, and overall value.
Comfort and Support
The mesh back keeps it cool and comfortable during extended use. One of my favorite features is the adjustable lumbar support. You can manually position it exactly where your lower back needs support, and it fits the curve of my back perfectly. It provides great support without feeling too firm or uncomfortable.
Build Quality and Design
The chair itself feels solid and well-built. It doesn’t creak or make noise when shifting around, which makes it feel stable and high-quality. The seat is roomy and comfortable, and the overall design looks clean and modern.
Easy Assembly
It also came with an instruction manual that was extremely simple to follow, and assembly was very easy. I was able to put the chair together by myself in about 20 minutes without any help.
Armrest Functionality
I also like the armrests. They aren’t adjustable by height, but they do flip all the way up, which is surprisingly convenient. You can easily slide the chair under a desk or use it as an armless chair when needed.
Packaging and Presentation
Another thing worth mentioning is the packaging. Everything arrived extremely well-packed. Every individual part of the chair was wrapped securely, including bubble wrap protection for the components. The hardware and accessories were neatly organized, and the chair even came with the necessary tools for assembly in case you don’t own a drill or tool set. The presentation and packaging were excellent and showed real attention to detail.
Overall Impression
Overall, this is a fantastic office chair for the price: comfortable, supportive, sturdy, easy to assemble, and packaged exceptionally well. I’d absolutely recommend it and would confidently give it a five-star rating.

Very Straightforward and Easy to Use

I have used this several times, and it has always been a smooth and convenient experience.
The biggest advantage is how intuitive the process is. Reloading the balance is simple, quick, and easy to understand without unnecessary steps or confusion.

Easy and simple: Exact Step-by-Step Guide to Reloading Your Balance
Reload type: One Time Reload
I found reloading my Amazon gift card balance much easier than expected. The process was simple and took about 5 minutes at most. Here are the exact steps to do it:
Login: In the Amazon app or on Amazon.com, log in to your account.
Menu: Tap the 3 lines on the bottom right corner of your screen (next to Rufus, Amazon's AI).
Find Category: In the section highlighted "Shop by category," tap on Gifting & Registry (3rd option down in that section) and a drop-down menu will appear.
Select Gift Cards: On the drop-down menu, tap Gift Cards (first option).
Choose Your Action: "The Gift Card Shop" will appear. There you will have three options: "Redeem a gift card," "View your balance," and "Reload."
Start Reload: To add funds, tap Reload.
Select Type: Scroll down to "Add funds directly to your Amazon Gift Card balance" and tap which reload type you want (one-time, low balance auto-reload, or scheduled auto-reload).
Enter Amount: Choose your reload amount. The default is $25, but you can type in your own amount as well (the minimum amount is $5.00).
Finish: Tap the orange "Buy Now" tab.
