Notes: This ring was previously sized. One synthetic calibre-cut sapphire is cracked, and both sapphires exhibit surface wear consistent with age and use. Original to the piece and the period, synthetic sapphires were commonly used for their clarity and color consistency. A small wear hole is present in one shoulder of the platinum setting; however, the setting remains secure.
