In the foreground piles of gear and blankets lie in the sand in front of him. Behind them a vast empty salt flat dotted with scattered salt bushes sits below a high, sheer-sided dune on the left. In the far distance beyond the flat low dunes sit along the horizon. This image was taken during Wilfred Thesiger's journey from Al Ain to Liwa oasis, Al Dhafra and Baynunah sands in November and December 1948.Due to the nature of these images, prints will reproduce any signs of age, wear or damage that occurred before they were archived by the Pitt Rivers Museum.

5 Stars - My Gentle Giant Loves It!

I got this toy for my German Shepherd, who is very gentle and loves soft plush toys. Even though he’s a big dog, he’s careful and enjoys playing gentle tug-of-war so the rope part as the string is perfect. The toy was a little smaller in length than I expected, but it hasn’t mattered at all — he absolutely loves it! It’s soft, thick, and has a squeaker deep inside that will make it hard for a dog to pull out. It is cute, and has held up well to a lot of carrying around and light tugging. If you have a gentle dog who loves plush toys, I definitely recommend this one. I would absolutely purchase it again! Fun little dog birthday gift.

Not for tough dogs who chew

My dog loves it! We play tug of war and it’s still holding up. She is 40 pounds and is strong. But this would not be durable for dogs who rip things apart.
