Small but super-tough, the Aegis L200 is not only 15% smaller and 30% lighter than the original but also benefits from Geekvape’s Tri-proof technology to create a tough and durable device that is rated IP68. Waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and able to withstand temperatures from -20 to 60°C, this is a perfect device for the outdoors.

The Aegis L200 is powered by 2 external 18650 batteries (sold separately). This convenient replaceable battery design means you never have to go without your vape for long. When the batteries run out, simply replace them and carry on vaping.

If you do choose to recharge the batteries, the USB-C charging design means they are quickly recharged and ready to use again. The charging port is sealed with a flip cover to help further protect the device and stop water or debris from interfering with its connections.

Included in the Aegis L200 kit is a Geekvape Z sub-ohm tank. The tank benefits from enlarged filling and airflow holes for cleaner, airier vaping. The adjustable airflow ring gives the choice of an airier or more restricted Direct-Lung vape.

The Aegis L200’s new A-lock feature helps protect the device and coil from accidental firing. A quick slide of the locking button locks the device and prevents it from firing until you manually unlock it again.

All important data is displayed on the large TFT colour screen on the device body. This allows users to monitor important factors including battery life, wattage and coil resistance.

The Geekvape Aegis L200 with Z tank is recommended for use with high VG e-liquids.

The included Z tank works with the Geekvape Zeus coil range.

What e-liquid can you use with the Geekvape Aegis L200 kit?

When used with the included tank and coils, the Aegis L200 is best used with high VG e-liquids with a VG:PG ratio of 70:30 and above.

Is the Aegis L200 a Direct-Lung device?

Yes. When used with the included tank and low-resistance coils in the Aegis L200 kit, the device is perfect for Direct-Lung vaping.

What Does IP68 Mean?

The Aegis L200 has an IP rating of IP68 - meaning it is completely dustproof and can withstand immersion in 1.5 metres of water for up to 30 minutes.

A device’s IP (Ingress Protection) rating refers to how dustproof and waterproof it is - expressed as a 2 digit code:

  • Dustproof rating (1st digit): is expressed between 1 and 6 - with 1 meaning the device offers no special protection from dust and 6 meaning it is dustproof.
  • Waterproof rating (2nd digit): is expressed between 1 and 8 - with 1 meaning there is no special protection from water and 8 meaning the device can withstand complete, continuous water submersion.

 

Can you wash a Geekvape Z tank?

Yes. Remove the tank from the device, and empty out any e-liquid. Wash the tank out with warm (not boiling) water. Ensure that the tank is fully dry before using it again.

You can also clean the connections out with cotton to remove dust.

Can I charge my Aegis L200 overnight?

Lithium batteries should not be left unattended when charging. It is also important to use an appropriate charger.

How long does the coil last?

Coil life depends on many factors, including how long you puff for, the e-liquid you use and the wattage you use your coil at. Low resistance coils, which are used at higher wattages, will not last as long as high resistance coils.

You can extend coil life by:

  • Priming the coil before usage
  • Using e-liquid with the right VG:PG ratios
  • Not going above the recommended wattage
  • Topping up your tank so that the coil never dries out

 

With care, the included Zeus coils should last several days of use.

Good size but pee leaks through :(

I have a 13-14 year old dog who is starting to have very frequent accidents in the house despite us taking her outside every couple of hours, she just drinks too much water which doesn’t mesh well with her weakening, old bladder. She tends to have an accident in two areas (the kitchen and right by the front door hallway) so we decided to buy some puppy pads to minimize the mess & aid in cleanup since clearly taking her outside every couple frequently isn’t helping reduce accidents. We chose these because of the size & price, which are both fantastic compared to others. It perfectly fits the two areas she tends to go so we only need to use one per area and to our surprise, she still remembers how to use puppy pads so she adapted quickly. But unfortunately, these don’t hold all of her pee as they are very thin. I just cleaned up the kitchen puppy pad and saw moisture under the pee spot on the pad. So while it does dramatically reduce how much we need to clean up (we were using one paper towel roll every 3 days just for her accidents), we still need to wipe down the floor with pet accident cleaning spray & mop. It’s not that big of an issue but it is still a bit frustrating that they don’t hold fluid well. So keep that in mind if you decide to order these, that you might still need to wipe down the floor under where your puppy/dog pees. We’ll be trying a different brand when we run out of these to see if that’s any better.

Built-in USB-C solves the power issue, but it is strictly for moderate chewers

Got this to keep the high-energy puppy occupied indoors so the older dogs can actually get some peace and quiet. The main issue with most automated electronic pet toys is that they rely on expensive, hard-to-find button cell batteries that die after a single afternoon of use. This unit utilizes a built-in 300mAh battery with a standard Type-C charging interface. That is a mandatory design feature if you actually want to run the toy daily without going broke replacing power cells. The internal motor generates enough erratic movement to keep a dog's attention, and it actually has the torque to navigate over standard tile, hardwood, and light carpets without instantly stalling out in a corner. You need to completely understand the physical limitations of what you are unboxing here. The listing explicitly states this is not for heavy chewers, and you need to take that warning seriously. The outer shell is TPU, but the internal chassis housing the electronics is hard ABS plastic. If you hand this to an 80-pound working dog that aggressively shreds thick bones, they are going to crush the housing and destroy the internal motor assembly in about ten minutes. At roughly 2.5 inches in diameter, it's basically the size of a standard tennis ball. If you use it as intended—as an interactive chasing toy for a puppy or a moderate chewer rather than a heavy-duty chew toy—it functions perfectly. It is a highly practical piece of indoor enrichment gear. Solid return on investment for burning off excess canine energy.
