Maneuverability / Portability
Designed for real-life routines, The Original AFO Assist works in the spaces you already use—bedside, living room chair, or anywhere you dress. The articulating AFO Cradle can be positioned upright, flat, or angled so you can choose the setup that feels most natural, whether you donn while seated or prefer to put on your AFO before getting out of bed. The AFO Cradle helps hold the orthosis in place while you insert your foot, and many users find a leg lifter can make the process even easier.
Power / Performance
No batteries, no charging—just smart mechanical design. The Shoe Platform is built to hold your shoe at an angle (commonly referenced as about 45°) so you can guide your foot in more smoothly while wearing an AFO. Add the Foot Funnel at the heel to help keep the shoe from collapsing and reduce friction as the AFO slides into place. The Toe Tunnel helps keep the shoe stable so it doesn’t shift while you’re donning.
