The Nike Air Max Plus Discover Your Air was released as part of a 2018 collection celebrating the history of Nike Air. This iteration of the Air Max Plus features bright, contrasting colors and an unusual midsole design.
The upper of the commemorative Discover Your Air Nike Air Max Plus is fashioned from light-aqua mesh to give the sneaker a lightweight, airy feel. The signature TPU cage that alludes to waves appears in gradient shades from black to purple as it offers foot support. The midsole is formed of black and white foam in an interlocking swirling pattern that becomes even more interesting as it works around the black midfoot plate shaped like a whale's tail. The midsole features three visible Tuned Air units, 2 under the forefoot and 1 under the heel. This sneaker rides on an outsole of black rubber.
