Overview
OHAUS offers four models for stirring capacities between 25 to 200 L allowing you to choose the right model for your application. The broad top plate surface allows processing of oversized vessels such as carboys for your large volume stirring. The powerful magnetic drive is also capable of mixing highly viscous materials.
For Carboys, Chromatography, Mixing viscous materials, polymers, pilot scale and other large volume Stirring and Mixing. Independent LED displays for speed, and time (on digital models); Knob with 1-10 dial markings (on non-digital models). High Volume Stirrers feature a cast aluminum housing and glass filled nylon top plate. Large Capacity Stirrers feature both stainless steel housing and top plate. Models include either a 70 mm egg shaped stir bar or 102 mm stir bar with pivot ring. Speed ramping feature slowly increases motor speed for enhanced coupling & improved stirring. Microprocessor-controlled for precise speed regulation. Timer counts up or when programmed to a set time, will turn off stirring & sound alarm when timer reaches 0.
Features:
- High Volume Stirrers (STLC1DG and STLC2DG) with a 100 or 200 L capacity are made with a stainless steel base offering durability and stability, and feature a 54 x 63 cm stainless steel top plate.
- High Volume Stirrers (STHVAL and STHVDG) have a large 32 x 28 cm top plate that is chemical-resistant with a white reflective surface that is easy to clean. Digital and nondigital models allow you to choose the right model for your application.
- Speed ramping feature slowly increases the motor speed for improved safety and enhanced coupling. Avoids splashing, improves spin bar control and provides excellent low-end speed control.

Great, Practical, Real
Format: Paperback
Finally a real estate book that has real, practical tips and methods to go out and get deals done.
I almost didn’t read this as in the last few months I have poured through dozens of books and got sick of the “have a solid goal and motivate yourself” or the “this is why real estate is a great investment” that plagues 99% of books in this area while providing no real context. This book should have been my first go-to book. It’s real, authentic, full of real world advice and tips. Read it and you finally get an idea of how to do it from the guys who actually do it.
This isn’t a “feel good” book written by an author or journalist. It’s a practical, raw, real-world guide to Section 8 real estate from the guys who have hundreds of units. A must read

Ha! Funny guys!
Man, these guys are a trip! They kept me in stitches! But seriously though, it's packed with enough information to embark on the section 8 landlord business if that's where you want to go. It's got lots of pictures to show what they're talking about and everything. Though it's not 110% complete. If you're really serious about it then you'll need to take some quickie classes on finding beat up homes for cheap. You won't find them all online and I plan to take a couple of quickie classes in real estate. You'll need to be up to code for the rules in your state. But this book is the most packed with information that I know of for the moment. So I consider it a must read. The print quality of the books is tragic, but don't let that stop you from getting your copy. It's all about real people in the business doing it and sharing with they accomplished and how they did it with us. And I appreciate it. And you might die laughing.

A Practical and Encouraging Starting Point for First-Time Investors

As someone completely new to real estate and working a 9–5 with limited income, this book felt genuinely reassuring. It doesn’t talk down to beginners or assume you already have a lot of money to invest. The concepts are explained in a simple, practical way that made real estate investing feel possible instead of intimidating. I especially liked how it focused on getting your first deal and managing properties realistically, not just selling a “get rich quick” dream. While it’s clearly written for beginners, it gave me clarity, confidence, and a sense of direction. If you’re starting from scratch and juggling a regular job, this book is a helpful place to begin.

All inclusive knowledge
Format: Kindle
If you are anything like me who is curious about anything and everything but gets overwhelmed as to where to start, this is for you. This book is a 2-for-1, and the first book is excellent for newbies who want to learn all they can about building empires. It is exciting, engaging, and, above all, designed for those who feel we need more time, money, and energy to get started due to the overwhelm. This isn't just another dry, jargon-filled investment guide that leaves you more confused than when you started.
I am a person who needs clear and actionable steps to get me from point A to point B. This combo of books gets you where you need to go without feeling completely overwhelmed. The first book will assist with breaking down the myths of real estate and assist you with shifting your mindset as they dismantle the myths one by one. It then guides you through the 7 simple steps you need to close your first deal; woo hoo! This was a great book to help me understand the different types of investments and figure out how the financing process works. This was an all-inclusive book. I appreciated the section on negotiating like Chris Voss, where you learn how to make offers so irresistible that sellers won’t want to say no.
The second book covers rental property investing, and it is a roadmap that teaches you everything from how to find incredible deals to managing your properties without wanting to throw in the towel. It covers long-term rentals, short-term vacation rentals, and everything in between. I learned so much. My brain is excited! The next step is following the authors' practical tips and clear explanations as I am inspired, more informed, and ready to take on the real estate world (on a small scale) with confidence!
