- Single point locking as standard
- All Single door cabinets supplied with right hand hinge as standard, (left hand hinge optional)
- Adjustable storage trays and shelves provide greater flexibility
- Constructed from 1mm mild steel, hardened hinges and finished with a durable, hygienic white epoxy coating
- High security lock designed to EN1300 and VdS 2396, with anti-pick levers and deadlock mechanism
- Supplied with 3 keys as standard
- 5V DC external warning light shows green when closed, red when open and flashes red when left open for 2.5 minutes
- Nurse call output, (volt free contact) for connection to a nurse call system
- Internal illumination when door is opened
- Buzzer alarm activates when cabinet is left open for 5 minutes (only available when combined with optional warning light)
- NB: All cabinets require securely fixing to either a wall or floor. Fixings to do this are not supplied

Easy Read with good case studies!!
Format: Paperback
I had to purchase this for my Advanced Pathophysiology class in my Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. It is very easy to understand and have pretty good case studies. I like that the CD that accompanies the book goes into some detail in explaining the cases further and the disease processes without giving you the answers to the questions. It stimulates one to think!! Once this class is over I will go back from time to time to review!!

Helpful
Format: Paperback
This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.

Good book!
Format: Paperback
Very helpful book for pathophysiology. The CD not only gives you answers to the case studies but gives you clear details of the clinical Pathophysiology of a particular disease. Definitely recommend it to students going for their Master's degree!

No Answers Provided to Case Studies
Format: Paperback
The cases are helpful; however, realize that there are NO answers whatsoever to the questions presented in the cases--not a huge problem I suppose, b/c you can google everything, but certainly an annoyance. (esp. when there are multiple possible answers. The author states in the foreword that some of the cases are real; in which case, why not provide the justification presented in the patient's chart as to why that patient takes a particular drug, esp. considering that you may take a drug for its side effects rather than its therapeutic effect. . .anyhow. . )
I think if the author provided at least SOME insight/guidance to the cases that it would be much more helpful, but until then, I'm skeptical as to why others gave this book 5 stars.
