For those that use their brakes to the maximum either on the road, and especially those that take their car to the track, 034Motorsport engineers developed an additional heat-blocking upgrade in the form of Titanium Brake Pad Shims for the factory Akebono Audi brake calipers. Positioned between the brake pad and caliper, titanium shims' low thermal conductivity reduces heat transfer from the Brake Pads and Rotors into the Caliper, preventing brake fluid overheating and brake fade during intense track use.
