The ARX Afterburner is a versatile compressor/limiter with several unique features tailored for professional audio applications. It features an 'Enhance' switch to maintain spectral balance, hard and soft knee compression options, and above/below threshold LEDs for quick monitoring. The unit also offers balanced XLR and TRS inputs/outputs, sidechain access, and a hardwire bypass switch. The Afterburner is known for its smooth compression, user-friendly layout, and high performance in various environments, from studios to live sound settings

Condition:

  • This unit has been used.

  • This unit has been thoroughly tested. Everything is working as it should. There are no faults to note.

  • Channel 2 is missing the locking pin on the XLR connector. The XLR connection is still working.  

  • The cosmetic condition of this unit is good It shows some wear from use and age like some small nicks and scratches. There are also some marks from where some tape use to be. Nothing major. Please see all photos. 

  • Please be aware this unit is currently set to 240V. This means it is ready to plug and play within Australia and New Zealand. 

  • This unit can be changed from 220v-240v to 100-120v via fuseholder/voltage switcher on rear. (the fuse holder comes out and when you twist it it changes the voltage) Please ensure the unit is set to the correct voltage before powering it on.
  • This unit uses an IEC cable to power on. This cable is not included in the sale.

  • This sale is for the unit only. Nothing else is included in the sale.

Update: Amazon refunded me the price of the mattress as I can’t really send it back now that it isn’t compressed and we do not live anywhere near a UPS store. I reached out to the seller as it is listed as having a 5 year warranty. The seller has so far only initially offered me a 10% refund, so not honoring their warranty at all. I have refused this and asked for either a full replacement or a replacement section for the one that is defective. We will see if they stand by their warranty! The package came SO compressed that one of the foam inserts never recovered. We opened it according to instructions, let it sit for 72 hours, and edges of foam were all so stuck together they did not rise properly. I had to take every piece out of both covers, manually pull apart the edges, and then let it rise again. We tried everything to get the third insert to be like the others- put it in a warm environment, put it in the bathroom where there is some more damp air, and still isn’t like the other two. It feels different as well- softer than the other two pieces. It’s like it is a totally different foam. It doesn’t fill out the cover completely and it is consequently very uncomfortable and not useable as one whole section is softer and thinner than the rest. I would like to return it but not sure how now that it is not compressed. Would not buy this product again. Very frustrating.
