Description
The 1x6 Atoma Diamond Plates feature advanced diamond technology that enables faster cutting, increased durability, and a consistent finish at each grit level. These diamond plates are securely mounted to a standard 1x6" aluminium blank, which is compatible with Edge Pro, Hapstone, and TSProf sharpening systems. Additionally, they can be used as versatile slip stones, field stones, and pocket stones.
The diamonds on the plates are electro-bonded to the steel sheet and then adhered to the aluminium backing, ensuring a strong and reliable construction.

The Atoma Diamond plates can be used dry or with water, offering flexibility in sharpening methods.
The #140 Atoma Diamond plate is specifically designed for heavy reprofiling tasks and removing deep chips from blades.
The #400 Atoma Diamond plate is ideal for lighter reprofiling work on knives with lighter chips. It can also be used effectively when reprofiling a factory bevel.
The #600 Atoma Diamond plate leaves a consistent scratch pattern and sets up the bevel for further refinement with the #1200 Atoma Diamond plate or low grit Japanese water stones like the #400 Chosera.
The #1200 Atoma Diamond plate refines scratch patterns and prepares the bevel for use with Japanese water stones, such as the #1000 Chosera.
