This 2022 Grenache soars with superb purity of black cherry aromas lifted by savoury touches of wood smoke and coal fire, all neatly wrapped in a cloak of French oak. This has raw power on display with rich veins of earthy blackberry finely dusted with Middle Eastern Spices. Exquisite underlying tension and a wall of fine tannins drive an extraordinarily long, fine finish. The 2022 is delicious now and will be for some time to come.

2022 is an incredibly beautiful vintage, and I am continually and repeatedly reminded of its beauty. Here, the 2022 Grenache is silky, elegant and beautiful. The fruit is red and black, the blood plum/star anise/fennel notes finely woven through the tannins, which are silty and reminiscent in flavor of dried rose petals. This is an alluring, seductive wine, one that will endure long into the future. There are some clove and ironstone notes on the nose. 15% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
