Mutant ISO SURGE is a straightforward whey protein that hits you with fast, quality protein without extra junk. The main parts are whey protein isolate and whey protein hydrolysate, giving 25g protein per serving at about 110 calories, with barely any carbs or fats. That's smart design. In protein powders, what sets a good one apart is the quality of the protein, how fast it digests, the amino acids it packs, and avoiding fillers.

ISO SURGE focuses on pure whey forms instead of cheap concentrates. Whey protein isolate is the star—it's filtered to cut out most lactose, fat, and carbs, leaving a ton of essential amino acids. For performance, that means it's easy for your body to use and great at kicking off muscle repair when you get enough in a serving. Studies show 20-40g of good protein per meal maxes out that muscle-building signal for active people, with leucine being a big player. 25g of whey fits right in there, making it solid for after workouts or as a snack.

Whey protein hydrolysate steps it up. It's pre-broken down into smaller pieces, so it digests quicker and gets aminos to your muscles faster than regular proteins. In real life, that means the shake doesn't sit heavy, especially around workout time when big meals suck. Mutant points out 16.3g EAAs plus glutamine and 5.5g BCAAs. Those aren't fancy extras; they're just what the whey naturally brings. That is impo

Key Highlights

  • 25g protein per serving — that's the key stat, putting ISO SURGE in the sweet spot for sparking muscle repair after workouts. For most folks who train, it's enough quality whey to help with recovery and building lean muscle.
  • Whey protein isolate as the main source — this is big because isolate has less lactose, carbs, and fat than regular whey concentrate. You get cleaner nutrition that's easier to slot into cutting or maintenance plans.
  • Whey protein hydrolysate thrown in — this stuff breaks down into small peptides that digest and absorb fast. Around workouts, it feels lighter and gets aminos working quicker than denser proteins.
  • About 110 calories per serving — perfect for when you want protein without a calorie overload. It lets you hit your protein needs while saving room for real food carbs and fats.
  • 5.5g naturally occurring BCAAs — leucine, isoleucine, and valine aren't standalone wonders, but in full whey, they help make it awesome for recovery. That's why whey is still top dog in sports nutrition.
  • 16.3g EAAs plus glutamine — shows the solid amino acid punch from the whey mix. Essential amino acids are must-haves for muscle building, and glutamine adds to the recovery vibe.
  • Digestive enzymes like protease, lactase, and lipase — smart addition for a whey powder. Protease helps break down protein, lactase handles any leftover lactose, and lipase deals with fats, making it easier on your gut day after day.
  • Low carb and low fat setup — gives you control over your eats. No calorie penalty for protein hits; it's a tool that fits your meal plan.

Who Is This For?

  • Physique folks cutting who want high protein without wasting calories on carbs and fats. 25g whey isolate and hydrolysate helps hold muscle while keeping things tight.
  • Early morning trainers who hate heavy meals around workouts. Hydrolyzed whey and enzymes make it quick and light when you need aminos without the drag.
  • Intermediate lifters doing 4-6 sessions a week and tracking protein. ISO SURGE makes it easy to get quality hits with full essential aminos from whey.
  • Recomp athletes needing a shake for training and off days. 25g protein and lean setup supports recovery and bridges meals without issues.
  • People who like isolate but bail on heavy concentrates. Isolate base, hydrolysate, and enzymes like lactase and protease make digestion better than budget wheys.
  • Team sports players recovering between practices or travel. Fast whey gets essential aminos in when meals aren't doable.

How to Use

Mix one serving of Mutant ISO SURGE in cold water and drink when you need quick, lean protein—usually within an hour after training or as a snack. Water keeps it clean and fast; milk adds thickness, calories, carbs, and slower proteins. Shaker bottle beats a spoon for mixing isolate powders. If whey is new or your stomach's picky, try half first, but this one's usually smoother than concentrates. Fine with meals, but the speed shines solo. Stacks well with creatine, post-gym carbs if you need them, or food later. No cycling needed—it's about regular intake. Keep the tub closed in a cool, dry spot for best mixing.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: light protein hit, not a heavy shake feel, especially in water. 10-30 minutes: digests fast, with hydrolysate and isolate easier than thick concentrates. 30-90 minutes: aminos from the whey are soaking in during that post-workout window. Days 1-7: easiest win is hitting protein goals without perfect timing. Weeks 2-4: if your training and calories line up, you'll notice better recovery, muscle hold in a cut, or growth in a bulk. It's not instant like caffeine; it's about stacking quality proteins over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much protein does Mutant ISO SURGE provide per serving?

Mutant ISO SURGE provides 25g of protein per serving. That amount sits in the evidence-based range commonly used to support muscle protein synthesis after training, especially when the protein source is high-quality whey.

What kind of protein is used in ISO SURGE?

The formula uses whey protein isolate and whey protein hydrolysate. Isolate keeps the product leaner in carbs and fats, while hydrolysate provides smaller peptide fragments that generally digest and absorb quickly.

Is Mutant ISO SURGE good for cutting?

Yes, it is well-suited to cutting because it delivers 25g protein at roughly 110 calories with very low carbs and fat. That makes it easier to preserve lean mass and hit protein targets without spending too many calories on the shake itself.

Does ISO SURGE contain digestive enzymes?

Yes. It includes protease, lactase, and lipase, which are there to support digestion of protein, residual lactose, and fat. The exact enzyme doses were not disclosed in the available label data, but their inclusion is a meaningful usability advantage.

When is the best time to take Mutant ISO SURGE?

The best times are immediately after training, between meals, or any time you need a quick, clean protein feeding. Its isolate and hydrolysate blend makes it especially practical when you want protein without a heavy stomach feel.

Is this better than regular whey concentrate?

For athletes prioritizing lean macros and easier digestion, yes. Whey isolate is typically lower in lactose, carbs, and fat than whey concentrate, and the added hydrolysate makes ISO SURGE more recovery-oriented than many basic whey blends.

Does Mutant ISO SURGE have BCAAs?

Yes, it provides 5.5g BCAAs naturally as part of the whey protein matrix. Those BCAAs are useful because they are delivered inside a complete protein source that also contains the other essential amino acids needed for recovery.

Can beginners use ISO SURGE?

Yes. This is an all-levels product because it is simply a high-quality protein supplement, not a stimulant-heavy performance formula. Beginners can use it to make daily protein intake more consistent while they build better nutrition habits.

Is ISO SURGE lactose-free?

Not necessarily. Whey isolate is generally much lower in lactose than whey concentrate, and the formula includes lactase to help with digestion, but it is still a milk-derived product and may not be suitable for people with severe lactose sensitivity.

Should I stack ISO SURGE with creatine?

Yes, that is one of the best stacks. ISO SURGE handles fast post-workout amino acid delivery, while creatine monohydrate supports phosphocreatine replenishment and strength output over time; together they cover both recovery nutrition and performance support.

An action-packed dark romantasy
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.

Not a bad start
Format: Kindle
3 stars Thank you Netgalley and Briar Boleyn for the ARC! A camelot/king Arthur retelling with fae. I was hooked by the idea of this book immediately and was eager to jump into this world. • slow burn • enemies to lovers • who did this to you Morgan Pendragon watched her mother die by her father's hand when she was just eight years old, hiding under the bed. Morgan is believed to have the tainted blood of the fae in her veins and is cast aside so that her fathers illegitimate son, Arthur, can become the king. She's seen his cruel treatment of the fae firsthand, so when he sends her on a journey to find a fae weapon she seizes the opportunity to do more with her life. Along the way, she finds more than she could have imagined. I don't know a whole lot about King Arthur and Camelot but I had a lot of fun with this story! The plot has some similar tropes to popular romantasy books (From blood and ash) but there's enough originality here that it doesn't feel like I'm reading a copy. I liked how the fae were different in appearance than what is typical in most fantasy books I've read. In this book they have blue hair, violet skin and a wide range of other characteristics. I thought that the world building was easy to follow and I could easily immerse myself into this world. After reading the blurb I kept wondering when she was going to go on the journey to find Excalibur and it doesn't happen until around the 45% mark. The story is a bit slow at times but starts to pick up once they begin their journey to find Excalibur. The John Wick style Inn was a fun concept that I enjoyed reading about. There are a lot of similarities to this and FBAA and I would have liked to have it be a little more different, but I'm hoping book two will have the story turn into something of its own. Overall I enjoyed reading this story and I'm looking forward to reading book two especially after that ending.

| fantasy romance | high fantasy | witch x necromancer | rune magic | death-made | fire mage | court politics | morally grey | political intrigue | mystery | secrets | enemies x lovers | quest | single POV | SLOW burn | feminine rage | SPICY | touch her and dxe | OCD rep | nicknames | anxiety rep | forbidden romance | cliff-hanger | plot-twist | one horse | care taking | It’s been a few years since I last read a story by Lisette Marshall, and I was instantly reminded why I love her work. Lisette is a master of weaving together rich fantasy worlds, complex characters, and heart-stopping romance. Lisette builds amazing worlds, develops intriguing characters, and crafts plots full of twists and turns. The final 30% had me wide awake in the middle of the night, anxious, thrilled, but also kicking my feet and grinning like a fool. Lisette truly knows how to build tension and then deliver an ending that causes a complete and utter crash out. The dynamic between Thraga, a rune witch on the run, and Duralin, a necromancing fire mage with secrets of his own, was absolutely electric. Their banter? Unforgettable. The dialogue was brimming with wit, tension, and just the right amount of venom. Underneath all that verbal sparring, though, was a surprising tenderness. A quiet, aching vulnerability that made their connection feel raw and real, while being layered underneath a resistance full of tension and hidden yearning. I especially admired the OCD and anxiety representation woven naturally into the story; it added authenticity and depth without ever feeling forced. The nature of OCD is repetitive, and the reality of anxiety is that it is always lurking beneath the surface. I found the representation to be so realistic and relatable. The world-building was lush, the mystery was gripping, and the slow burn? One of the slowest and most satisfying I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading and experiencing. The story unfolds entirely through Thraga’s POV, but Lisette gifts us a glimpse into Duralin’s mind at the end, truly, a perfectly placed moment that leaves you thirsting for the next book. The Death-Made Prince is everything I want in a fantasy romance: morally grey characters, delicious tension, sharp and cutting banter, and a world that feels alive with magic, secrets, and mystery. It’s easily one of my favorite reads of 2025, and I cannot wait to see what comes next. This is absolutely one of my favorite reads of 2025. I highly recommend The Death-Made Prince by Lisette Marshall. Happy Reading, Friends xx

Dark, Twisty, Unforgettable
Format: Kindle
Thank you Lisette Marshall for the free gift! I really enjoyed this one, though I did feel it ran a bit long. Some of the pacing dragged, especially near the end where the characters seemed to face one too many “captured by the enemy” moments before the story moved forward again. Still, despite those slower stretches, the slow-burn romance was absolutely perfect. The tension between Thraga and Durlain built so naturally that when their connection finally deepened, it felt completely earned. The worldbuilding was rich and immersive, filled with fascinating magic and political intrigue that felt both original and grounded. The rune-based magic system, in particular, was such a refreshing and creative element. And as always, Lisette Marshall’s characters were layered, flawed, and endlessly compelling. Even with a few pacing hiccups, this story pulled me in completely, and that ending left me reeling. Lisette Marshall continues to prove why she’s one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to see where she takes this series next. It promises to be dark, twisty, and unforgettable.
