Called "yachts" by the Dutch, these vessels were elaborately decorated. Unlike other ships of the period, they were equipped with side stabilizers. A large triangular spanker tied to a long gaff, supported by the halyard, sloped downward to the base of the main mast.

Corel's plank-on-bulkhead kit features laser cut wooden parts and double planking in lime-wood and walnut.
