Each package contains two large frozen pasties

This is our Thai Crab Pasty.

Our in-house team of chefs and fish specialists here in Cornwall has developed this tasty Thai Crab Pasty.  It is made from beautiful hand-crimped pastry around a delicious hand-picked crab in a warming, fragrant Thai sauce.

This Thai crab pasty balances the subtle taste of Thailand with our hand-picked Cornish crab for a taste sensation you will want to keep coming back to.

Each package contains two large frozen pasties (320-350g).

Preparation:

To prepare our Thai Crab Pasty: These instructions should be used as a guide only. Optimum cooking times will vary depending on the oven.

For best results, always bake from frozen.

Preheat oven to 180C. Place on a lined baking tray and bake in the centre of the oven for 50 minutes until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is piping hot (over 90C), and there you go.

Leave to cool for 10 minutes after removing from the oven, as the filling will be very hot. Here in Cornwall, we eat ours from a paper bag - no knives and forks!

Awesome Boards….BUT the Smell!!!!

I’d love to give these 5 stars, they are heavy, well made, smooth, deep juice grooves, just nice….but the smell! I washed them, then used vinegar on them, set them outside over night, washed them again….its better but still present. I’d love some guidance on this. I’m hoping it goes away in a few days. It’s like a very strong woodsy smell that actually made my whole kitchen smell like these boards! Edit: Ok, here's what I did. Washed, let dry, coated and scrubbed with apple cider vinegar, set them in a high air flow area for 24 hours (I put mine outside on the patio over night), washed and scrubbed again, let dry, scrubbed with lemons and salt, let dry, washed again. Finally, there is still a slight smell if you push them against your nose but that seems to be fading as well. So, great boards if you want to go stubbornly go through the smell removal process. I don't think it's a chemical smell, I think it's processed bamboo that is shrink wrapped in air tight packaging too soon after manufacturing. Anyway, I'll move this to 4 stars....but lots of work involved here!
