V. I. Lenin Mine is a coal mining enterprise in Mezhdurechensk, Kemerovo region,
Russian Federation. It is part of Southern Kuzbass (Mechel).
The mine was put into operation on October 30, 1953 with a design capacity of 2
million 400 thousand, which was reached in 1962. In the 1960s, the mine became
the largest coal enterprise in Kuzbass, its annual production exceeded 3 million
tons.
In 1970, the mine was renamed the Lenin mine.
In 2006, the mine became part of OAO Yuzhny Kuzbass Coal Company.
