The switchable magnetic base allows the stand to be magnetically secured to any iron or steel surface and the articulated mounting post gives a wide range of adjustment to ensure the DTI gauges can be held securely at almost any angle. Why 2 DTI gauges? The 7687 kit is supplied with 2 styles of gauge - the 60mm diameter plunger type gauge is best suited to the measurement of depth and height, for example piston deck heights or DSG actuator position; the 30mm diameter lever type gauge is best suited to measuring runout on rotating surfaces like brake discs, flywheels and shafts.
