The 2.8L comes rated at 180HP by GM, complimenting the power with emission equipment to keeping it quiet and clean. Coupled with the 6L50 transmission, it's a mean machine. The result of this arduous labor has been proven, delivering you more power, better driveability, and higher mileage.

Through adjustments via engine and transmission controllers, this tuner will significantly widen and raise the factory torque curve. By widening the torque curve, your truck will shift sooner and engage torque converter lockup quicker without bogging down the truck. This equates to less operating RPM and ultimately lower fuel consumption numbers. To add to the impressive gains made with the tuning, you'll be shocked to learn that no modifications are needed with the SPADE. This means you still get a quiet, clean, smokeless truck that can be returned to stock at any time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This process requires acquiring an unlock code which takes about 10 minutes of work on your computer, the SPADE tool in hand, and your truck. Once you send the unlock code to Duramax Tuner, it can take up to two business days to receive the Unlock Key, which is required to read and tune your truck.

POWER LEVELS:

• Optimized Stock (+10HP) - Power level near stock for towing at or over max GVWR. Useful for when the truck is driven by those who do not need the extra power and torque.
• Tow Tune (+32HP/30Ft-lbs) - This tune is designed to incorporate appropriate power and torque gains for use when towing. Greatly improves your ability to get the load up to speed and maintain it on grades or while passing.
• Sport Economy Tune (+45HP / 60Ft-Lbs) - A very fun tune that is recommended for daily driving use in unloaded scenarios. This tune has a little bit too much mustard for extended high output pulls such as those you'd encounter while towing. Duramax Tuner does not recommend towing while in the Sport Economy Tune.
• Performance Tune (+52HP / 80Ft-Lbs) - Even more fun than the Sport Economy Tune, but with a true balance of power to ensure reliability.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS:

• OPTIONAL TCM TUNING - In order to optimize shift points and torque converter lockup, we recommend upgrading with the optional TCM (Transmission Control Module) tuning for clean, crisp shift points, even with the added power.
• VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) - We need your complete VIN found on the door sticker or windshield placard.
• TIRE SIZE - So that Duramax Tuner can properly recalibrate your speedometer, your tire size is needed
• OTHER MODIFICATIONS - Please list out any other pertinent modifications you have made to the truck. Note that Duramax Tuner does not support emissions delete and their tuning will not work if you have removed any emissions from the vehicle.
