The delicate citrus aroma of Melissa has been soothing the nerves for centuries. In fact, one 11th century herbalists praised it for “making the heart and mind merry”! Modern-day aromatherapists suggest Melissa oil for calming nervous tension, grief, and emotional upset.

Create a comforting massage blend with just a few drops of Melissa in a carrier oil to support relaxation and to promote emotional well-being. It blends well with other uplifting oil such Lavender, Rose, Ylang Ylang and Neroli.

Ingredients: Melissa 

Common use:

AROMATHERAPY USES: Calming, relaxing, balancing; eases tension, stress, restlessness, nervous irritability, occasional sleeplessness; promotes emotional well-being; calms grief and panic.

Other Uses:

External preparations (massage, bath oil, blend): skin care; lip care; insect bites; insect repellent; supports tissue repair. Blends well with: Chamomile, Geranium, Lavender, floral and citrus oils.

Suggested directions:

With few exceptions, essential oils must be properly diluted before applying to the skin. See our carrier oils such as Jojoba oil, Sweet Almond oil, Coconut oil, and Olive oil. Basic Dilution Guidelines: 2-5 drops essential oil to 1 teaspoon carrier oil; 6-15 drops essential oil to 1 tablespoon carrier oil. Vary according to preference & strength of essential oils. MAY CAUSE SKIN IRRITATION
