Fabergé x 007 Goldfinger Egg Safe Locket with Ruby Heart Surprise

Introducing the Fabergé x 007 Goldfinger Egg Safe Locket with ruby heart surprise, a precious collector's jewellery piece, hand crafted from 18k yellow gold. Inspired by the Fort Knox gold depository safe, a central part of the Goldfinger  story, the egg locket opens to reveal a heart-shaped ruby dripping with gold.

This is the second in a series of Fabergé x 007 egg pendants taking inspiration from the film series.

Details.  Made from the finest precious materials: 18k yellow gold and a Gemfields heart-shaped Mozambique ruby. The locket hangs on a 60cm long 18k yellow gold 1.9mm trace chain with egg tag.

The exterior.  Meticulously crafted in 18k yellow gold, the curved egg shape is based on a heavily armoured and studded vault, complete with hinged doors and spinning central handle. At the centre is a 007 and the bail is in the shape of a G for Goldfinger, in the same font as Auric's ring from the film.    

The interior.  The vault door opens to showcase a ruby heart nestled inside, dripping in gold to represent Goldfinger’s passion for gold... "This is gold, Mr. Bond. All my life I've been in love with its colour, its brilliance, its divine heaviness."

Care.  When not being worn, we recommend storing your locket in the pouch provided. To clean, gently wipe with a soft cloth, then remove any remaining impurities with mild diluted soap. Rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly before storing in its pouch. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steamers or ultrasonic machines.
