Description

Carli 2.5" Leveling Starter Suspension System 11-16 Ford 6.7L PowerstrokeSure, you could add a simple spacer on top of your coils to level our your SuperDuty, but wouldn't you rather actually improve the ride quality while also getting that level stance you're after? If so, check out this Starter Leveling Kit from Carli Suspension. The Super Duty Starter system is designed for people who want a small suspension lift without the stereotypical ride quality degradation associated with mass produced "lift and leveling kits".

Sure, you could add a simple spacer on top of your coils to level our your SuperDuty, but wouldn't you rather actually improve the ride quality while also getting that level stance you're after? If so, check out this Starter Leveling Kit from Carli Suspension.

The Super Duty Starter system is designed for people who want a small suspension lift without the stereotypical ride-quality degradation associated with mass-produced "lift and leveling kits". The Carli Signature Seriesshocks build quality is unmatched for their price point and offer a nice boost in ride quality.

CARLI LEVELING START SUSPENSION SYSTEM COMPONENTS

The truck will sit 2.5" higher in the front and have more wheel travel thanks to the taller, lighter rate coil springs. Stainless Brake Lines and an Adjustable Track Bar round off the front end geometry correction while Caster Shims improve on the stock handling. The rear is outfitted with a Progressive Add-a-Pack lifting it 2" on F-250's and 1/2" on F-350's and matching rear shocks help keep the truck planted over rough terrain while maintaining factory towing and payload capacity. The 2.5" systems are designed to work with trucks equipped with the 2" rear block. Super Duties equipped with a 3-5/8" tall block from the factory will require the factory 2" tall Block to achieve a leveled stance with the Add-a-Pack. Part Number: 7C3Z-5598-L and 7C3Z-5598-K.

PROGRESSIVE ADD-A-PACK LEAF SPRINGS

This system is considered entry level; however, it's fully upgradeable and only requires an upgrade to one of Carli's many signature tuned shock packages to be converted to one of the higher-end systems. This system was designed with the Progressive Add-a-Pack and should not be run with the Full Progressive Leaf Springs.

ADD-A-PACK SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Built in the USA by Deaver Leaf Spring
  • Smooth progressive design
  • Supplied with U-bolts and hardware
  • Provides 2.0" of lift
  • OEM load capacity maintained, improved ride
  • 3.5" axle tube
  • SuperDuties equipped with a factory 3-5/8" Block will require the 2" Factory Block [7C3Z-5598-L, 7C3Z-5598-K] to achieve a level stance.

WHEEL AND TIRE FITMENT

On their 2.5" Ford Systems, Carli recommends 17"-18" wheels, no more than 9" wide with 5.5" of backspacing with Carli Fabricated Radius Arms or 5" Backspace with factory arms; 5" will require a bit more trimming. Tires, 37x12.5" will fit with some trimming; 35" will likely fit without trimming. The more rubber, the better the small bump compliance will be at proper inflation pressures. The ride will firm up as you go larger in wheel diameter.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
  • WHEELS: Carli Recommends a 17"-18" Wheel, no more than 9" wide with 5"-5.5" of Backspacing on Leveling Systems
  • TIRES: 35", E-Rated Tire Fitment is Recommended. Recommended unloaded Tire Pressure 45F/40R.
  • RECOMMENDED CONFIGURATION: Carli Leveling Systems are Designed and Tested on Vehicles with 17"-18" Wheels with 35", E-Rated Tires. Stock wheels and tires or running a larger wheel diameter will result in a stiffer ride.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS

LEAF SPRING SHACKLE SPECIFICATIONS:

Much of the jarring ride of the Super Duty rear can be attributed to the factory vulcanized bushings in the leaf spring pack and shackle. The factory shackle is very strong BUT the design is not conducive to a smooth ride. The Carli shackle is constructed of 1/4″ American cold-rolled steel. The mid-length gusset ensures no deflection while the serviceable bushings offer a far superior ride to the bind of the factory bushings.

  • Greasable and Rebuildable
  • Far better ride than factory shackle
  • 1/4" steel construction
  • Fits factory and Carli Springs
FABRICATED ADJUSTABLE RADIUS ARMS SPECIFICATIONS:

Icing on the cake, these arms add Additional Tire Clearance, Limit Strap Protection for your Front Shocks, 1/4" Boxed Steel Constructions, Serviceable 17-4 Stainless Spherical Bearings and Adjustable Caster Correction up to 3.5° over stock specs to leave Death-Wobble in the rear-view.

  • 0.5 - 2.5 degree of adjustable caster correction
  • 3/16 construction, fully internal gusseted with 1/2" additional tire clearance
  • 12" limit straps kit included
  • 17-4 stainless spherical joint for longevity and bind free cycling
HIGH MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER SPECIFICATIONS:

Bolt in replacement for the factory stabilizer. Adjustable from 70-200 psi to run neutral (no directional influence at 70psi) or at 200psi to counter the right-hand pull inherent to tires like Toyo Mud Terrains.

  • Inside the Carli stainless stabilizer
  • Bolt in replacement for OEM stabilizer
  • Works on leveled and lifted trucks only
  • Will NOT work with dropped pitman arms
LOW MOUNT STEERING STABILIZER SPECIFICATIONS:

Bolt in steering stabilizer which compliments a Carli, or factory, high mount stabilizer. Adjustable from 70-200 psi to run neutral (no directional influence at 70psi) or at 200psi to counter the left-hand pull inherent to tires like Nitto Trail Grapplers. Run in conjunction with the Carli High Mount for the ultimate Dual, Opposing Steering Stabilizer combination that's infinitely adjustable.

  • Inside the Carli stainless stabilizer
  • Custom valved for larger tires, adjustable nitrogen pressure
  • Includes differential guard and clamp
  • Combines with high-mount stabilizer for opposing setup

one of the best books I’ve read
Format: Kindle
This book is transformative in how I view everything. There are two categories: people who need to read this book and people who need to read it again.

Started w/ audiobook, now I'm ordering the print too
Format: Paperback
This book is GREAT!! The integration of theory she uses to support her claims is masterful. I began listening to the audiobook, because it was cheaper & I go through a ton of counseling & psych books. I am a grad student in social work, and I'm also a therapy client trying to heal myself. I appreciate that this book targets "chronic shame" which as a central experience to a bunch of issues. The hundreds of books and articles I've researched seem like they were mostly ALL working back to this issue. In a psychology culture that is big on cognitive and chemical solutions to mental health, the relational approach that she emphasizes is critical to the healing process. I appreciate the research she uses from object relations, affect regulation, interpersonal, etc. I purchased the hard copy because 1. I can't underline/highlight an audiobook and 2. I want a copy of the references of theorists and study's that she draws from, because they are pure gold. All therapists need to understand the contents of this book! Unless you are perfectly fine offering band aid solutions. Clients and self-helpers beware. It's not triggering in terms of content, it is activating in the sense that she describes the felt experience of shame SO WELL. I could locate my own felt sense of shame which is, by default, unpleasant. Some stabilization and a decent therapeutic connection is probably necessary before cracking this book open. But that's why I love it. I needed to go deeper and get the core issues. And this book is like a map that guides you right to it.

One of the best books on shame out there
Format: Paperback
As a shame researcher and educator, I often refer to DeYoung's book because it is so full of resources and relational tools for clinicians and individuals relating to the neurobiology of shame. It is a very small book with A LOT of information. Many references to the shame research and suggestions for treating shame in clinical practice from a perspective of right brain relationship dynamics. Thank you Patricia!
