Gazania Garden Leader Pink blooms repeatedly all season long, and masses of bright, large, daisy-like, pink flowers with contrasting yellow centers attract bees, and butterflies.
Gazania Garden Leader Pink is often planted as a ground cover, and Treasure Flower is a popular garden flower for growing in rock gardens, borders, around driveways and sidewalks, hanging, baskets, containers, and as an accent plant in any sunny spot. If the plant is planned to be grown as an annual, Gazania Rigens seeds can be started indoors in winter 6-8 weeks before last frost for the earlier start of bloom season. Deadheading the plants will increase the bloom time. Treasure Flower thrives in a full sun location and well drained soil tolerating heat and drought.
