The Rancho RS5000X Rear Shock Absorber is engineered to improve ride control, stability, and overall handling for Super Duty trucks used in everyday driving, towing, hauling, and light off-road use. This direct-fit gas shock delivers a smooth, controlled ride while enhancing confidence and control over varying terrain and loads.
Built with a gas-pressurized twin-tube design, the RS5000X helps reduce shock fade and maintain consistent performance under heat and heavy use. The 16 mm nitro-carburized piston rod provides excellent strength and corrosion resistance, while the larger twin-tube body and all-weather fluid help the shock operate efficiently in a wide range of temperatures.
Rancho’s proprietary progressive engagement valving and tuned compression control improve ride quality by managing impacts more effectively across different speeds and conditions, providing balanced control both on the road and off the pavement.
