DRONE TRAP

iE's advanced DroneTrap technology captures the pulse waves responsible for the 2.0T engine's exhaust note and draws them into a mathematically tuned resonator. The internal port is engineered to resonate these waves against each other in a process that selectively cancels out those responsible for annoying drones. The remaining waves produce the deep and enriched exhaust acoustics enthusiasts love.

Inspired by high-end OE designs, wide-width stretch clamps keep every connection tight and leak-free.

SOUND CONTROL - SEAMLESS FUNCTIONALITY

Control your exhaust volume through the factory drive select controls from your MMI system. Select comfort to drive around your suburb like a civilized neighbor, or trigger Sport/Dynamic mode to release that boosted roar.

EXHAUST VALVES - REFINED TO ROWDY

In Comfort/Normal mode, the valves stay closed, routing all exhaust through the center-mounted muffler to reduce volume while keeping a sporty tone. Switch to Sport/Dynamic mode to open the valves, bypassing the muffler through twin 2.5" pipes for a loud, performance rumble.

Install your new Catback Exhaust kit without any permanent modifications or installation hassles. The install process is straightforward with basic tools, however, an autolift is highly recommended.
