The Bar-End ATV Mirror features bar-end mounting that will work with most ATVs. The bar-end mounting feature offers the ability to mount the mirror quickly and easily into the handlebar, while keeping the mirror out of the way, and free from interfering with hand movement. The insertion knob on The Bar-End ATV Mirror is 5/8 of an inch in diameter, and the mirror head will sit 3 inches away from the handlebar. The overall length of the mirror is 10 inches. The mirror head was designed using a 'tear-drop" shape measuring 6 inches long by 3 inches high (at its largest point). The viewing surface measures 5 inches long by 3 inches high. Please note: All measurements are approximate. Installation of the Bar-End ATV Mirror is easy. Start by simply sliding the insertion knob into the exposed handlebar. The mirror assembly then attaches by fastening it to the insertion knob using the supplied bolt, and turning until the mirror fits snuggly into the handlebar. The Bar-End ATV Mirror comes with a vibration-free convex safety lens to provide both safety and wide angle viewing while on your ATV. The mirror head adjusts in all directions using a ball and socket mount between the mirror head and mirror arm. The arm can also be adjusted for optimal viewing using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included). The Bar-End ATV Mirror is completely universal and can be used on snowmobiles, jet skis, motor-cross bikes, 4 wheelers, or bicycles. Part of a Set

Video lectures, just as the subtitle promises
I was seduced into buying this set on the basis of NT Wright's reputation and advertising graphics showing Holy Land locations. Consequently, I didn't pay sufficient attention to the subtitle: "The New Testament in Its World: Video Lectures." And "lectures" is exactly what this set delivers. Talking heads, lecturing on the New Testament; sometimes in a studio, sometimes in eastern Mediterranean locations.
The content is solid evangelical biblical scholarship. My disappointment is the almost complete lack of engagement with the spectacular settings much of these films are shot in. It seems to me that Wright and his producers missed a real opportunity by failing more explicitly to relate their lecture content to the places where they're standing.
I give this set a three-star rating. The lectures are a perfectly fine introduction to the New Testament, if that's what you're looking for -- but you could put them on CDs or MP3s and listen in the car. The graphics add very little to these presentations.

Didn't get a lot out of it
My wife got me this for a Christmas present. Having previously made it through Eusebius' "Proof of the Gospel", she figured I could handle it. I know this is part of Zondervan's Academic product line and as such is not aimed at a general audience. What I discover was that if the audience lacks credentials in Philosophy or Theology, the incessant use of jargon and terminology that would most often only be encountered in a Seminary or Religious College is something I found off-putting.

Respectful Critics

Wright and Bird do an excellent job of discussing the New Testament. They offer insights from the most widely held opinions and then offer their own with a multitude of resources. It is an excellent resources within its self.
