The Daiwa Saltiga 35 Jigging Star Drag Reel is a premium conventional reel engineered for serious offshore anglers targeting large, deep-water species like yellowtail, bluefin, yellowfin tuna, and grouper. Featuring Daiwa’s revolutionary Hyperdrive Design, this reel delivers unmatched power, precision, and durability.
The Hyper Armed Housing, crafted from a precision-machined aluminum one-piece frame and side plate, ensures maximum rigidity and precise alignment of internal components, even under extreme pressure. The Hyper Tough Clutch provides rock-solid gear engagement and disengagement, while the Hyperdrive Digigear, with oversized, reinforced gear teeth maintaining 3-point contact, offers seamless rotation and reduced wear for long-lasting performance.
The Hyper Double Support system stabilizes the pinion gear with bearings on both sides, enhancing cranking power and smoothness. Equipped with Magsealed ball bearings, the reel resists saltwater intrusion and corrosion, ensuring longevity in harsh marine environments. The Ultimate Tournament Drag (UTD) system delivers ultra-smooth, fade-free drag performance with up to 28.7 pounds of maximum drag, ideal for stopping powerful fish.
