Classic high-stim energy that hits hard for your workouts

Jack3d from USP Labs is a high-stim pre-workout with a proprietary blend, focusing on big energy, adrenaline rush, and workout intensity instead of fancy pump ingredients with full disclosure. The idea is simple: pack in solid caffeine, mix it with other stims and adrenaline boosters, then add classics like beta-alanine, creatine monohydrate, and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate all in one blend. It feels powerful during your session, but the hidden doses mean you can't be sure if those support ingredients are at levels that really work.

We know the caffeine dose: 135mg per scoop, up to 405mg at 3 scoops. That's a lot, and it hits hard. Caffeine blocks adenosine receptors—that's the stuff that makes you feel tired—so you get more alertness, better performance, quicker reactions, and more motivation. In weight training, it's one of the best-backed ingredients for boosting your output. At 405mg, you'll feel a real surge in drive and intensity if you're used to it.

There's also 2-aminoisoheptane HCl to boost energy and mood on top of caffeine. Not as much research as caffeine, but people say it gives a euphoric, focused vibe for high-output workouts. Geranium extract is in there too—it's got that old-school stim rep, though we don't know the exact active levels. Yohimbe extract, standardized for yohimbine alkaloids, ramps up the adrenaline by blocking alpha-2 receptors, whic

USP Labs Jack3d by USP Labs contains 25mg Geranium Extract, a effective dose for training performance and pump.

Key Highlights

  • Up to 405mg caffeine at 3 scoops—that's a big dose for any pre-workout these days. Caffeine is super well-researched for boosting alertness, making efforts feel easier, and pushing your training harder when you dose it right.
  • Not just caffeine—it's got 2-aminoisoheptane HCl, geranium extract, and yohimbe to make the energy feel more intense and urgent. You get that aggressive training vibe that's perfect if you want to feel it working right away.
  • Yohimbe extract with yohimbine alkaloids—that means they're focusing on the active parts, not just random bark. It gives a sharper, more powerful feel than your average pre-workout.
  • Schisandra chinensis extract brings in some adaptogen action. Instead of piling on more caffeine, this helps with stress resistance and focus, so the stims feel more dialed in.
  • Creatine monohydrate is in the mix—the top choice for strength and power if dosed well. But since it's in a blend, we don't know if you're getting the 3-5g a day that really works.
  • Beta-alanine is included, great for high-intensity sets or tough metabolic workouts. It needs 3.2g+ daily to build up carnosine levels, but the hidden dose means we can't confirm if it's enough.
  • Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate is first in the blend, showing that old-school pump and performance style. It was huge in early pre-workouts, though citrulline is better now for nitric oxide and raising arginine in your blood.
  • Dose it from 1 to 3 scoops to match your tolerance. That's key in a high-stim product—one person's sweet spot could be too much for someone else.

Who Is This For?

  • Guys used to stims who know high-caffeine pre-workouts and want one that hits strong right away. The mix of caffeine, 2-aminoisoheptane HCl, yohimbe, and geranium is for aggressive sessions, not everyday mild stuff.
  • Bodybuilders or physique guys doing intense hypertrophy workouts who need better drive and less mental drag. It's great when energy and aggression beat out perfect pump doses.
  • Folks training after long days when you're mentally wiped. The caffeine and adrenaline boosters cut through that and get you switched on.
  • Fans of classic pre-workouts who like that aggressive feel over modern balanced ones. It's about the gym buzz, not full labels.
  • People on cuts wanting energy plus less appetite and more drive with low calories. The stim profile fits that well.
  • Intermediate or advanced lifters who get dosing and want to scale from 1 scoop up. Flexibility is key with strong stims.

How to Use

Start with 1 scoop in 8-12 oz cold water 20-30 minutes pre-workout. Don't jump to 2 or 3 unless high-stims are your thing—this mixes caffeine with other stuff that can make it intense. Use a shaker for even mixing, especially if changing scoops; more water can mellow it out. Take it on a light stomach—fasted if stims sit well, or after a small meal an hour or two before—for best kick-in. Skip stacking with extra caffeine, stim supps, or yohimbe. For solid performance, add your own creatine daily instead of counting on the blend. Cycle it for tough days or take breaks to avoid tolerance buildup. Store it sealed in a cool spot to prevent clumping.

What to Expect

First 0-10 minutes: Mix and drink it—nothing big yet, just getting it down. 10-20 minutes: Caffeine kicks in, you might feel more alert, warm, or tingly from beta-alanine if it's enough. 20-40 minutes: Prime time to start—focus sharpens, motivation rises, and the full stim mix shines. 40-90 minutes: It keeps you going through sets, depending on your dose and tolerance. First week: You'll judge it on the energy rush since hidden doses mean no quick buildup. 2-4 weeks: Regular use might build benefits from beta-alanine and creatine if you're getting enough, but the stim feel is the star every time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in USP Labs Jack3d?

Available retailer listings consistently show 135mg caffeine per scoop and 405mg at the 3-scoop maximum serving. That is a high intake on its own, and it matters even more because the formula also includes 2-aminoisoheptane HCl, yohimbe extract, and geranium extract.

Is Jack3d a good pre-workout for beginners?

No, this is not a smart first pre-workout for most beginners. The stimulant profile is aggressive, the serving can be escalated up to 3 scoops, and the blend includes compounds beyond caffeine that can feel much stronger than a standard entry-level pre-workout.

Does this version of Jack3d use a proprietary blend?

Retailer data indicate that it does. The blend totals 4,145mg per scoop and includes AAKG, creatine monohydrate, beta-alanine, caffeine, 2-aminoisoheptane HCl, geranium extract, yohimbe extract, and schisandra extract, but individual doses are not fully disclosed.

Can I trust the creatine and beta-alanine amounts in this formula?

You can trust that they are included, but you cannot verify that they are clinically dosed because the exact milligrams are hidden within the blend. Creatine monohydrate is best supported at 3-5g daily, and beta-alanine at 3.2g+ daily, so many users choose to supplement creatine separately.

What does yohimbe do in this pre-workout?

Yohimbe, standardized for yohimbine alkaloids, increases adrenergic activity by blocking alpha-2 adrenergic receptors. In practical terms, it can make the formula feel sharper, more stimulating, and more aggressive—but also more intense for stimulant-sensitive users.

How should I dose Jack3d the first time?

Start with 1 scoop only, mixed in water 20-30 minutes before training. That gives you a realistic tolerance test for the caffeine plus the rest of the stimulant system before you consider moving higher.

Can I take Jack3d with coffee or an energy drink?

That is not a good idea for most users. At full serving the formula already delivers 405mg caffeine, and stacking additional stimulants on top of caffeine, yohimbe, and 2-aminoisoheptane HCl can increase the risk of jitters, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, and sleep disruption.

Is this more of a pump pre-workout or an energy pre-workout?

It is clearly an energy-first pre-workout. AAKG is included for legacy pump support, but the real identity of this formula is its stimulant stack, not a modern clinically dosed nitric oxide profile.

When should I avoid using this product?

Avoid it late in the day if stimulants affect your sleep, and avoid it completely if you have cardiovascular issues, uncontrolled blood pressure, anxiety sensitivity to stimulants, or are taking medications that interact with adrenergic compounds. It is also inappropriate during pregnancy, nursing, and for anyone under 18.

What should I stack with Jack3d for better results?

The most logical stack is standalone creatine monohydrate taken daily, because the exact creatine amount inside Jack3d is undisclosed. A hydration/electrolyte product can also be helpful since high-stim pre-workouts often feel better when fluid and sodium status are dialed in.

Love the idea!
Size: 6 Pieces, Size: 6 Pieces
Love the idea of this product! Arrived 3/25/2026 and started using it the same day. Lab puppies (8 months old) loved it too, until one of the tabs was chewed off 😞 One of the puppies ate something (not this product) last week and was sick & finally threw up the rubber pieces he ate. So they can’t use the toys they love!

Get 8 pack for bigger / stronger dogs
Size: 6 Pieces, Size: 6 Pieces
This is the best puzzle toy i have found for my GSD mix. All around high quality product 10/10. Thick, durable rubbery material that holds up against a strong chewer. Individual pieces are big and bulky enough that i don’t have to worry about my bigger dog accidentally (or intentionally) swallowing a piece, so i don’t need to supervise. That being said, if you have a bigger dog or a strong chewer, i HIGHLY recommend getting the 8 pack if you actually want to keep them busy for more than 20 mins consistently. Bigger dogs just have more leverage to tug on the pieces because obviously…they are bigger, so its just easier for them. The more pieces you add and more tangled/thicker you can make it, the less leverage they have and the harder it is for them to get a good grip. I have a german shepherd/pitbull mix (big boi, v smart, v strong) and i initially got the 4 pack which, after the first few times, only took him about 5 mins to get all the pieces apart even with level 5 connections. So I ordered an additional 6 pieces (i have a total of 10 pieces now) so i could make it harder for him and it was totally worth it. Now I use 8 pieces with level 5 connections and vital essentials freeze dried beef liver treats inside for my GSD and it consistently takes him 30+ mins to get the whole thing apart. I have timed this lol. I can rebuild the 8 pieces multiple different ways to make it more or less challenging (but i always opt for as difficult as possible to keep him entertained for as long as possible) I use the other two pieces with a level 1 or 2 connection for my other dog- bordercollie mix who is not a very strong chewer, he mostly just rolls it around/ licks it until it finally opens or i help him. Both of my dogs are obsessed with this. And i love watching them try to figure it out.

Awesome Tough Chewer Focus Puzzle
Size: 8 Pieces, Size: 8 Pieces
Our 2 yr old busy Mini Goldendoodle (24lbs) looooves this! The material is super tough, yet malleable; he has chewed away and you can’t even tell. We got the 8 pack, worth it! I load them all up with mostly kibble and a treat or two. It took just a short time for him to figure out how to really get it apart. On 1 it came apart really easy for him. We are mostly on 3s, with 2s. When he gets down to only 2 pieces connected it’s usually a 3 and it takes a little longer to get apart due to less leverage. It is mostly easy to use but the higher the plug end is, the more effort it will also take for YOU to get it together. The numbers are a little hard to see, more so on the yellow over the blue. If you use kibble like me, don’t fill it too full as then it won’t connect fully and be prepared for kibble to fly everywhere when they finally get it off. There are holes in the plug part, if you put something in it like peanut butter, remember to poke the holes out! Eew! Other than that they are fairly easy wash out in the sink! Overall, this has become our go to, extended focus, quiet time, [essentially a] slow feeder!

Great!
Size: 4 Pieces
I have a mini Australian Shepherd (37 lbs) and she loves this! She can get level one but has a tougher time with level 2. I have tried 3 but she gives up so she hasn't gotten further than that lol. She is quite stubborn and gives up easy if she can't figure something out and is totally over it. The quality is great as it is thick and not easy to destroy. My fur baby does love it, she seems to think it is fun for at least an hour so it is worth it in my eyes. There are times I have to do something that takes longer and I just can't play with her so this is perfect for her. It was definitely worth the money

Keeps Aussie Entertained for Hours
Size: 4 Pieces, Size: 4 Pieces
This puzzle toy has quickly become one of my dog’s favorite sources of entertainment. It keeps him busy, challenged, and happy. The variety of difficulty levels gives him a challenge, and it is so fun to watch him work through the puzzles. Even when he is just playing with individual pieces, he is entertained. It is also very user-friendly. Setup is simple, and it is not overly complicated for the owner to manage. Cleaning is surprisingly easy, too. The pieces wipe down well, and nothing traps food or slobber, which is a huge win compared to some other toys we have tried. Functionality-wise, it is fantastic. The levels of difficulty actually work as intended, and I like being able to adjust them based on my dog’s mood. It is durable, too. The weight and sturdiness of the pieces keep them from sliding around too much during play, and they are tough enough to withstand my Aussie’s powerful chewing without damage. I also like how it is numbered so you can quickly move onto the next level without too much thought. With that, I have noticed the higher levels are challenging, and my Aussie has yet to get through them all. Eventually he gets bored and stops trying. It is a high-quality, fun, and engaging toy that provides mental stimulation, holds up to rough play, and is easy for me to maintain. Definitely one of the best puzzle toys I have tried!
