In this competitive game, players assume the role of royal architects aiming to earn the favor of the king and uphold their noble status by constructing significant landmarks across his newly appointed domain.

Players must gather raw materials, hire apprentices, and manage their workforce effectively while navigating a landscape fraught with rivals who might employ unscrupulous tactics to hinder your progress.

The objective is to accumulate the most Victory Points (VP) by constructing various buildings and advancing the work on the Archbishop’s Cathedral. Throughout the game, players face moral decisions that will impact their standing. At the end of the game, players' virtues are assessed, and those who have engaged in too many underhanded deals may face penalties. The game concludes once a predetermined number of constructions have been completed.
