Alpha Lion Super Human Extreme is a high-stim pre-workout that hits hard on energy and focus while covering the basics for better performance—like blood flow, muscle endurance, cell hydration, and mental sharpness. It's not just about pumps or caffeine alone. It packs solid doses across the board with a stim blend made for folks who can handle it.

For performance, you've got 3,200mg beta-alanine. That's the standard dose from studies that builds up carnosine in your muscles over time. Carnosine helps buffer acid buildup, so you can push through that burning feeling in tough sets. This is one of the best-dosed ingredients here. Then there's 2,500mg betaine anhydrous— a go-to amount for boosting power, keeping cells hydrated, and improving how you train. Add 1,000mg L-taurine for better cell balance, nerve support, and staying hydrated during sweaty sessions.

On the pump side, 4,000mg L-citrulline gets the job done for nitric oxide and blood flow, though it's not the massive 6-8g you see in pure pump products. Citrulline boosts arginine levels better than taking arginine straight, which helps widen blood vessels for better nutrient delivery. They threw in 50mg S7™, a plant blend that aims to ramp up nitric oxide through your body's own signals. A small study showed 50mg spiking NO levels quick, but the research isn't as rock-solid as citrulline's. Still, the idea is smart: use citrulline for the building blocks, then S7 to help signal more NO.

Key Highlights

  • 3,200mg Beta-Alanine — this matches the daily dose from studies that build muscle carnosine. Carnosine fights acid in your muscles, so you handle high reps, short rests, and that deep burn without tapping out as fast.
  • 2,500mg Betaine Anhydrous — a real dose for strength and endurance, not just for show. It helps with cell hydration and power, making it a solid player in a pre-workout that means business.
  • 4,000mg L-Citrulline — enough to boost nitric oxide and get blood pumping during workouts, even if it's under the 6-8g in heavy pump formulas. It feeds the pathway for wider blood vessels and better muscle delivery way better than arginine alone.
  • 1,000mg Taurine — a good amount for keeping cells balanced, supporting nerves, and staying hydrated. In a high-stim pre like this, it helps smooth things out so it's not all jitters.
  • 1,000mg L-Tyrosine — a smart dose to keep your focus sharp in a heavy-stim setup. It supports brain chemicals that pair with caffeine for better stress handling, attention, and workout intensity.
  • 370mg total caffeine from the SXT™ Energy System — this is straight-up high-stim land. It mixes quick-hit, slow-release, and delayed caffeine for a smoother ride than plain old caffeine.
  • Dynamine® methyliberine yielding 40mg — a cool add-on that sharpens caffeine's edge without piling on more. In the gym, it feels like quicker, cleaner energy and drive.
  • 200mcg Huperzine A from Huperzia serrata extract — a solid nootropic dose for focus and connecting mind to muscle. It slows down acetylcholine breakdown, helping with attention during tough lifts.

Who Is This For?

  • Seasoned lifters in big volume phases who need more than just energy. 3.2g beta-alanine, 2.5g betaine, 1g taurine, and 4g citrulline help with reps, hydration, and flow while caffeine drives long sessions.
  • Strength folks training early who want fast-hitting energy that lasts. Mixed quick and timed caffeine beats single-shot stuff for steady power.
  • Gym rats who crave high-stim vibes and that intense pre feel. Dynamine®, Huperzine A, and Alfabin® make it next-level for strong preferences.
  • Bodybuilders chasing mind-muscle in long, short-rest sessions with fatigue. Huperzine A and tyrosine keep you focused, beta-alanine and taurine maintain output.
  • Athletes mixing lifts and conditioning who need energy, endurance, and focus when tired. Beta-alanine and betaine back repeated efforts, stims keep you going.
  • Folks who handle 300mg+ caffeine and want an upgrade. 370mg plus methyliberine and rauwolfia feels way stronger than mid-level pres.

How to Use

Start with half a scoop to test tolerance. It's got 370mg caffeine plus methyliberine, Huperzine A, and rauwolfia, so respect it even if you're a pre vet. Once good, mix one full scoop in 8-12 ounces cold water 20-30 minutes pre-workout; that lets quick caffeine hit while slower ones carry you through. Shaker's best for mixing, especially if you sip it. Empty stomach means faster kick, full meal slows it down. Don't stack with other caffeine, fat burners, or yohimbine unless you're experienced. Adding creatine monohydrate is smart since this covers flow, endurance, and stims already. Use daily for beta-alanine buildup, but cycle to avoid tolerance. Store sealed in a cool, dry spot to keep it fresh.

What to Expect

Minutes 0-10: most folks feel the mental click first, especially on an empty stomach. Beta-alanine tingles might start if you're sensitive at 3.2g—totally normal. Minutes 10-20: quick caffeine ramps up, and Dynamine® plus rauwolfia add that sharp, urgent vibe. Minutes 20-40: prime time for training—focus is on point, drive feels locked, and citrulline, taurine, betaine make sessions feel supported and full. Minutes 40-90: timed caffeine keeps the drop-off away, though if you're sensitive, it might linger strong. Days 1-7: you get the instant energy, focus, and pump, but beta-alanine is still building. Weeks 2-4: carnosine levels up, and grinding sets feel easier than day one.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine is in Alpha Lion Super Human Extreme per serving?

Each full scoop provides 370mg total caffeine from the SXT™ Energy System. That total comes from caffeine anhydrous plus zumXR® extended-release and delayed-release caffeine, which is designed to create both fast onset and longer-lasting energy.

Is Alpha Lion Super Human Extreme beginner-friendly?

No. This is an advanced high-stim pre-workout with 370mg caffeine, Dynamine®, Huperzine A, and rauwolfia extract. New users should start with 1/2 scoop, but true beginners are usually better served by a moderate-stim or stim-free formula first.

Why does this formula use 3.2g of beta-alanine?

3,200mg is the established daily benchmark used in sports nutrition research to raise muscle carnosine stores over time. More muscle carnosine means better acid buffering during high-intensity work, which helps you tolerate the burn of hard sets and repeated efforts.

Is 4g of citrulline enough for a good pump?

Yes, 4g is a meaningful dose and should support nitric oxide production and blood flow, especially when paired with S7™. That said, it sits below the 6-8g range found in the most pump-focused formulas, so this product’s identity is more balanced toward high stimulation than maximum pump volume.

What does Dynamine® do in this formula?

Dynamine® is a branded methyliberine ingredient used to sharpen the feel of a stimulant formula. Here, 100mg of a 40% material yields 40mg methyliberine, which helps create a faster, cleaner sense of energy and complements the caffeine system.

Why is Huperzine A included?

The Huperzia serrata extract is standardized to 1% Huperzine A, giving 200mcg per serving. Huperzine A helps slow the breakdown of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter involved in focus, attention, and neuromuscular signaling, which can improve mind-muscle connection during training.

Can I stack this with coffee or an energy drink?

That is not recommended for most users. At 370mg caffeine before considering Dynamine® and rauwolfia, this formula is already aggressive, and adding more stimulants can significantly increase the risk of jitters, elevated heart rate, anxiety, and sleep disruption.

Does this formula need to be taken every day?

The acute stimulant effects only matter on training days, but beta-alanine works best through consistent daily intake because it relies on carnosine saturation over time. If your goal is maximizing the endurance side of the formula, regular use is beneficial, though some users still cycle the product to manage stimulant tolerance.

What should I stack with this for a more complete performance setup?

A standalone creatine monohydrate is the smartest add-on because this formula does not include creatine. Creatine supports phosphocreatine replenishment and high-output power performance, complementing beta-alanine’s acid-buffering role and betaine’s hydration/performance support.

Will this make me tingle?

Possibly, and for many users likely. The 3.2g beta-alanine dose commonly causes paresthesia—the harmless tingling sensation often felt in the face, ears, or hands—especially when taken quickly or on a relatively empty stomach.

3.5 stars, A little boring to say the least.
Format: Kindle
Wow so I'm not sure where to begin on this one. This was a very different take on the legend of Arthur and Excalibur. This is told from the point of view of Morgan the sister of Arthur. Honestly the first 50% of this book is world building and character building which unfortunately was super boring for me. Morgan to me was a female MC that had a hard time in believing in herself. Sometimes taking too long to understand exactly what was going on around her. Draven was also a different male MC, like I couldn't put my finger on him and what he was all about. It was not until the last 10% of the book did we get some answers on the mystery that is Draven. The other 50% of the book centered around this big journey with everyone having a different motive. We see a spark of magic around this time that had me excited but then we never expanded upon that and what it could mean for the female MC. I feel like I want to read the second book just to see where this goes, but the spice was probably a 2 out of 5. Side characters are ok, Lancelet was fun but I almost felt like I wanted more.

A bewitching retelling of Arthurian legend!
Format: Kindle
In a land where the Fae have nearly become only a legend and those who still posses even a morsel of the blood are few and far between, Morgan finds herself cast aside by most of society due to her rumored half-Fae lineage, including her brother, King Arthur. With the kingdom at the brink of war, Arthur entrusts her with a quest to retrieve a Fae weapon of legendary power: the sword of Perun, Excalibur. Accompanied by men she loathes, Captain Kairos Draven and Ragnar Whitehorn, she embarks on her long and unbeknownst perilous journey, only to find that things she once believed to be myth are in fact very real. With devastating twists, omitted truths, witty banter and fierce action, Queen of Roses leaves you begging to know more about the secrets of Aercanum! Wow, wow, wow! Going into this story, I did not realize that it was going to be a retelling of Arthurian legend, especially not one with a fantastical twist! The unique spin almost gave me The Witcher vibes and I think adding Fae into the mix was quite interesting. I knew the basics of the legend but after reading this book, it has piqued my interest and makes me want to learn more about it. My attention was snatched as soon as I finished the prologue and I knew that I was going to devour this story. I truly enjoyed the gender swaps and even how Arthur was portrayed as villainous. Morgan’s past and even her parts of her present is absolutely heartbreaking, and I felt for her at times. I can only recall one other book that made me hate characters the way I despised Florian and Arthur, leaving me with my blood boiling and feeling disgusted. Even after finishing the book, Draven is still a mystery to me and I cannot figure out how to feel about him. I guess they just means that the author did an excellent job at conveying each character’s persona! The rich world building and imagery made it easy for me to visualize the places that the group visited along their journey. I am truly engulfed in this story and I cannot wait to see wait fate awaits Morgan and how the Fae will be even more incorporated in the next book!. Enchanting
Format: Kindle
"Queen of Roses" by Briar Boleyn is a delightful and refreshing reimagining of the classic tale of King Arthur, with a captivating twist that places the spotlight on Morgan, a character who has often been overshadowed in traditional retellings. Boleyn's creative decision to shift the narrative perspective to Morgan breathes new life into the story, offering readers an intriguing and compelling look at the Arthurian world from an entirely different angle. One of the most commendable aspects of this book is its incorporation of Fae elements, which adds an enchanting layer of magic and mystery to the already familiar Arthurian setting. Boleyn skillfully weaves the world of the Fae into the narrative, creating a captivating backdrop against which the events of the story unfold. This addition not only adds depth to the world-building but also provides ample opportunities for twists and turns that keep readers thoroughly engrossed. However, while the book boasts numerous strengths, it does have one noticeable flaw: the characterization of Morgan. While it is reasonable to create a flawed and complex protagonist, it appears that at times, Morgan's character becomes overly difficult and hard to relate to. Her persistently negative perception of one of the main male characters, who is a potential love interest, despite his efforts to support and assist her, may come across as somewhat irrational and could test the patience of some readers. Striking a balance between a strong, independent character and one who can recognize genuine support and affection could have enhanced the overall reader experience. Nonetheless, the allure of "Queen of Roses" lies in its innovative approach to the Arthurian legend and its skillful blending of fantasy elements into a familiar narrative. Boleyn's evocative prose draws readers into a world where magic, destiny, and fate entwine, leaving us eager to uncover the mysteries that unfold within the pages. An action-packed dark romantasy
Format: Kindle
I loved this book! Queen of Roses is an Arthurian-inspired dark romantasy that is the first book in the Blood of Fae series. The story follows Morgan, the princess of Camelot who is rumored to be part fae. Fueled by prejudiced hatred and a mistrust of fae blood, Morgan’s abusive father strips her of her birthright and hands it to her half-brother, Arthur. Instead of becoming queen, Morgan is commanded to join the temple of the goddesses when she comes of age. However, Arthur turns into a psychopathic, power-hungry, fae-hating king as he ages. He develops malevolent plans and commands Morgan to find an ancient weapon with legendary power. Although Morgan is wary of Arthur’s intentions, she embraces the opportunity to go on a journey and potentially change her fate. The story picks up from there and we follow Morgan on her quest to find the ancient relic. It’s full of high stakes adventure, mystery, tension, banter, forced proximity, hidden magic, self discovery, and betrayal. This first installment of the series intricately develops the world building and character development. There’s little romance in this book, but it is evident that it is a slow burn that will continue to develop throughout the remainder of the series. Overall, I loved the world building, the epic fantasy, Morgan’s journey of self discovery, and all of the twists and turns that set the stage for the future installments. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Arthurian Fae Quest…say less.
Format: Kindle
A fae centered Arthurian tale unlike any I’ve read so far. The author did a great job at descriptive world building, with scenes easily playing out in my minds eye. There was plenty of action, suspense, and even a touch of horror. An enemies to lovers, slow burn romance, a quest, with plot twist and turns aplenty. There was a love triangle, which I’m not usually a fan of but, it played out well in this story line. The FMC, Morgan Pendragon, was so blatantly naïve, yet I typically expect as much in a ‘book one’ of a series, especially one that features a fairly sheltered princess. I was happy to read that in spite of this, she still showed a strong sense of morals, fire, and spine. Now our MMC? Kairos Draven, aka Void’s Edge. Oh, how I’m a sucker for a smoking’ hot grumpy warrior alpha with a witty mouth, and a strong sense of “touch her and die” attitude, so you know who held all my cards. That ending? Just made me swoon all the harder. Now add a battlecat that rivals the size of a horse…and well Ms. Briar Boleyn you have well and truly stolen my heart. I’m excited to see where the story goes from here, and follow along to see more of the characters growth. I went into this story fairly blind, and I think I enjoyed it all the more because of it. Once the story got going, it had me in an absolute chokehold and it was difficult to put down.
