Nose - Aromas of rich tawny and dark chocolate mingle with warm, homemade apple and blackcurrant crumble. Notes of old oak, leather-bound books and toffee follow.
Palate - Creamy vanilla custard with a touch of candied orange peel, followed by more rich toffee and oak.
Finish - The finish transitions from heavy notes of rich, dark fruit to airy remnants of oak and smoke, with a light dusting of cinnamon.
