The DB-100-55 Deckbox + C1500 Bundle provides a ready-made two-node acoustic communication system pairing a portable deckbox modem with a compact enclosed subsea modem. The DB-100-55 integrates modem electronics, battery power, and laptop-friendly USB/Ethernet access in a rugged portable case, while the C1500 combines a with a 77Wh Li-Ion battery for portable operation, all housed in an aluminum enclosure rated for direct subsea deployment at depths up to 2000 m.
System Features:
- Ready-Made Two-Node System: Includes one deckbox modem and one enclosed C1500 modem for testing, development, and field trials.
- Flexible Data Rates: 80 bps to 10,240 bps depending on the selected modulation scheme.
- Precise Acoustic Ranging: Two-way acoustic ranging with accuracy better than <0.3 m.
- Easy System Integration: Ethernet, RS-422, RS-232, pShell, JSON, web interface access, and programmable Linux APIs.
- Onboard Data Logging: Internal storage with expandable microSD support and waveform playback/recording capability.
