Description

Thorn Soundlabs The Freaq Double Stage BoosterThey say: Two Stages, Infinite Tonal Possibilities The FREAQ is built around two gain stages that can work brilliantly together, making it far more than a simple clean boost. Alongside Gain and Boost, you get Damping to keep control of the low end as you add level. The FreaQ side comprises a Freq control that lets you target exactly where it hits, between 200Hz and 3. 4kHz, plus an active gain control which defines how much it adds to (or takes from)

Two Stages, Infinite Tonal Possibilities

The FREAQ® is built around two gain stages that can work brilliantly together, making it far more than a simple clean boost. Alongside Gain and Boost, you get Damping to keep control of the low end as you add level. The FreaQ® side comprises a Freq control that lets you target exactly where it hits, between 200Hz and 3.4kHz, plus an active gain control which defines how much it adds to (or takes from) the signal. That means anything from a clean level lift to pushing the front of an amp harder, to reducing frequencies exactly where you need it. Paired with a single channel amp or your favourite drive pedal, and you suddenly have 3 channels of your tone, and added to a pedalboard, you add countless new possibilities to your entire soundscape.

A classic story reimagined
Format: Kindle
Although it is rare that people don’t know who the Man of Steel is and what his origins are, I still highly recommend this to people that want to get to know the timeless character better. Superstar creators Mark Waid, Leinil Yu, and Gerry Alanguilan have retold the origin of Superman with more modern and relevant themes throughout the story. The characters are written well and their designs are great. I didn’t want to put it down when I read it, highly, highly recommended for anyone that wants to read Superman.

A fresh view on an old story
Format: Kindle
Mark Waid is one of my favorite comic writers. He make his characters feel real with flaws and fears. At the same time shows the best qualities of humanity in them. This is a good example of his ability to do so and even If it is no the best one I read from him, I still recommend it to any comic fan that enjoys a good story.

Good Read
Format: Kindle
I enjoyed the book. It may have dragged on a little bit and Kal-El is a little moody but overall it was good
