The buckle's inspiration is derived by the turquoise waters of Sarasota and Buddha. The term Buddha refers to an enlightened being who has attained perfect wisdom and compassion. The characteristics of a Buddha are having a profound understanding of the nature of reality, free from all delusions and misconceptions with boundless compassion for all beings, wishing to relieve them from suffering and guide them to enlightenment following a path of complete purity and virtue in all actions, speech, and thoughts and leads by example, embodying the highest ideals of wisdom and compassion and inspiring others to follow the same path.
The Sarasota Turquoise buckle's centerpiece is a Buddha. The base consists of turquoise stones along with turquoise, gold and silk-colored crystals, stones and beads. The buckle is finished with silk-colored crystals and gold chain.
