Mopeka LCD Display: Dedicated Remote Monitoring for Up to Two Tank Sensors

Real-Time Tank Level Visibility Without a Smartphone

The Mopeka LCD Display provides a dedicated, always-on screen for monitoring up to two compatible Mopeka sensors, including Pro Check, Universal, Pro200, and Pro Plus models. This compact unit eliminates the need to open an app, delivering instant tank level readings at a glance. Whether you are managing propane, water, diesel, or oil, the display keeps critical information accessible in your caravan, RV, marine vessel, or off-grid setup.

Engineered for convenience, the display features a rugged housing with an integrated mounting bracket and built-in magnets, allowing secure attachment to metal surfaces or walls. The high-contrast LCD screen is readable in varying light conditions, with adjustable brightness and screen timeout settings to conserve battery life.

Why a Dedicated Display Matters

Relying solely on a smartphone for tank monitoring can be inconvenient when your phone is out of reach, battery is low, or you need a quick check while cooking or setting up camp. The Mopeka LCD Display solves this by providing a fixed, always-ready interface. It reduces the risk of running out of propane mid-cook or discovering an empty water tank too late, enhancing safety and convenience during travel or remote living.

Key Features

  • Dual Sensor Monitoring: View levels from up to two Mopeka sensors simultaneously on one screen.
  • Extended Battery Life: Operates for up to 5 years on four pre-installed CR2032 batteries, with a simple rear-access compartment for replacement.
  • Customisable Display: Adjust screen brightness and auto-off timer to suit ambient lighting and power preferences.
  • Multi-Commodity Support: Select from presets for propane, water, diesel, oil, and other liquids.
  • Flexible Tank Configuration: Supports vertical and horizontal tanks with preset capacities up to 3,785 litres (1,000 gallons), plus an "Arbitrary" mode for custom tank dimensions and volumes.
  • Versatile Mounting: Includes a bracket and integrated magnets for tool-free placement on metallic surfaces or fixed installation.

Simple Setup and Operation

The display arrives with batteries installed, defaulting to a 9 kg (20 lb) vertical propane tank setting for immediate use. Configuration is straightforward: use the onboard buttons to pair sensors, select commodity type, and input tank parameters. For custom setups, the Arbitrary mode accepts exact tank dimensions and orientation, ensuring accurate readings for non-standard vessels. A QR code on the unit links to a detailed installation video for step-by-step guidance.

Battery replacement is user-serviceable: remove the rear screws, replace the four CR2032 cells (negative side down), and resecure the cover. The long battery life minimises maintenance, making it reliable for extended trips or permanent installations.

Built for Mobile and Off-Grid Environments

Designed to withstand the rigours of travel, the Mopeka LCD Display features a durable enclosure resistant to vibration and incidental impacts. The magnetic mount holds firmly on steel surfaces like RV panels or gas bottle rings, while the bracket offers a permanent option. Its compact size ensures it fits discreetly in control panels, near entryways, or on appliance cabinets.

Unlike generic tank gauges that require manual reading or unreliable mechanical floats, this digital display provides precise, real-time data from ultrasonic sensors, reducing the guesswork and potential for unexpected shortages. It is particularly valuable for monitoring propane levels in cold weather, where pressure-based gauges can be inaccurate.

Applications

  • Caravans and motorhomes: monitor propane and water tanks without stepping outside.
  • Marine vessels: keep track of fuel and fresh water levels from the helm or galley.
  • Off-grid cabins: check diesel or oil tanks for generators and heating systems.
  • Industrial settings: oversee multiple small tanks in workshops or laboratories.

Enhance Your Tank Monitoring System

Add the Mopeka LCD Display to your sensor setup for convenient, at-a-glance tank level readings. Whether you are upgrading an existing system or building a new one, this display offers the reliability and ease of use needed for confident resource management on the road or off the grid.

Great watch. New model lacks holographic diffraction membrane on the display.
Color: Black
It's a really cool design. It's lightweight, thin, easy to read, and feels well made. I do not find the buttons hard to press. Setting the time is easy. In the showcase video of this watch it clearly has a holographic diffraction membrane on the display, which is what gives it the green reflection as the watch spins around, but that is the older model with the "Atlantis 100" writing on the 12 o'clock position. This new model does not have the holographic diffraction membrane, and that is a bit of a let down for me personally. It was a design feature that really set the watch apart from most other digital watches. It's something to keep in mind if you owned the older model and expect the new one to be exactly the same.

$30 well spent
Color: Black, Color: Black
I haven't worn a digital watch in years. I have a Seiko automatic I wear to work events or anything where I feel like having a "dress" watch (it's not really a dress watch, but just a nice watch) but otherwise, basically rely on my cell phone for telling time and setting alarms. Recently, I've suddenly become interested in digital watches again. I remember how cool the Indiglo feature was on watches as a kid in the early 90s and started researching and comparing. I ended up purchasing one of the $99 Casio G-Shock watches with the solar and atomic clock radio features, and while it's definitely very cool, the wide square shape of the watch face and the curved resin wristband isn't comfortable for me to wear all day. So then I saw this one and figured for $30, it was worth giving it a shot. And I'm glad I did. First of all, the watch is very comfortable to wear all day -- which really should be the most important thing. I don't have super big wrists but also have had issues in the past with wrist sprains and mild tendinitis from typing all day at work and then painting and repairing my home on the evenings and weekends. The small, round watch face is very comfortable and sits well on my wrist. The band is admittedly very cheap and flimsy feeling, but again, $30 watch. I don't particularly care for stopwatch, timer, or alarm features from a digital wrist watch, but the Indiglo is so cool. Casio has stopped using electroluminescence in its watches and newer G-Shocks and similar Casios have a small LED that looks like the crappy old lights in cheaper digital watches from the 80s and 90s. It's disappointing to spend $100 on a new G-Shock to find out that the EL feature has been retired. However, this $30 Timex that feels more comfortable, fits better, and seems to be just as durable, has it.

Very good looking accurate watch but,
Color: Black
As others have said buttons very hard to operate. I'm not sure if it's by design or if they released an abnormally tough run, but they do require intent and strength to push. On the bright side, you'll never (and I repeat NEVER) accidentally press the button and activate something. You have to try hard to push them intentionally, I don't think it's even possible to accidentally press one. The look and feel of the watch are great though and I think the band is actually better quality than most Casio bands. Overall the price increase over similar casios gets you - better light, nice slim profile, and a better band, as well as buttons that won't accidentally push (because they're so tough to lol)

Defective watch - after 1.5 months of use, time automatically reset every day
Color: Teal/Brown
I'd only had the watch for about 1.5 months before the time started to automatically reset without any apparent reason. I would set it to the correct time, then before the day was done, I would look down and see that the watch time was drastically incorrect. I've seen at least one other review on Amazon describing this same problem with the Atlantis. Other than that, as other reviewers have mentioned, the buttons are a bit hard to press but that isn't a dealbreaker in my opinion (you get used to it). If you like the way the watch looks, and want a simple, smaller, lightweight digital watch, the Atlantis is adequate, especially at this price point - assuming it's not defective like mine.

It’s an “OK” watch.
Color: Black
I just received this watch. The watch fits well and is comfortable, light weight and is thinner than others I have had, which I actually like. There is no manual and trying to find one on line is a tall order. I just fiddled around with it to figure it out. Still working on some of the features. It apparently has two time settings which is good if you travel to other time zones without having to reset your time. Just hit the button. Speaking of the buttons, they are pretty tough to push. The display is so-so; some may have difficulty reading it although the numbers for the time are larger. It’s a decent watch but being worth $42 remains to be seen. I was a bit unhappy to receive the watch in an Amazon paper bag envelope. The box was crushed but the watch was in tact. It really should have been shipped in a box.
