About the brand

One of the leading purveyors of contemporary luxury items, Givenchy has a line of perfumes that is an extension of the Givenchy product line. Their approach is based on the spirit of French culture nourished by savoir-vivre and opulence as it stood in the post-war era of the 1950s, when the Maison de Couture was founded. Hubert de Givenchy's first collection debuted in 1952, but it was not until 1953 that he found his muse, the incarnation of his ideal of femininity: Audrey Hepburn. As a result, a 40-year friendship began, during which time the British actress became the ambassador of Givenchy. Films starring Hepburn wearing the creations of the designer conveyed the Givenchy image of refinement and elegance for the world to see.

Fragrance Note

Amarige opens with top notes of Tangerine, Violet and Rosewood.

The heart notes bloom at the centre, creating a pure floral with sweet, delicate notes of Gardenia, a hint of a bouquet of fresh Mimosa, Red Fruits and the warm, heady flowers of Ylang Ylang.

The bouquet finishes with the vibrant and muted, yet extremely sensual notes of Ambergris, Precious Woods, Musk and Vanilla.
