The Private Lesson offer personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored specifically to your skill level, interests, and learning pace.
In your first lesson you will be given a general overview of the processes, workshop options and cleaning. At the potter's wheel You will be shown how to turn a cylinder (a cup or bowl). The introduction takes about an hour. After that, you will have time to practice the process on your own, with help by your side.
If you take several lessons, we will put together a course that meets your wishes. This can be combined with you practicing on your own during Open Studio.
How to book a lesson
The duration of a Private Lesson on The Potter's Wheel is 2 hours (included 10 minutes cleaning) The lesson can be booked Monday to Thursday and on a selection of Saturdays. Please note that the workshop is closed on Fridays and Sundays.

Currently, the Private Lesson on the Potter's Wheel can be offered at a great price. If you book a lesson Monday and Thursday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, the price is €45 for 1 lesson.
Important and good to know
Clay and kiln firing are purchased separately in the studio. You are welcome to contact us for a price list.
It is mandatory to bring your own tools for the wheel. A start tool set can be purchased in the workshop.
The process on the wheel can be a muddy affair, so please bring an apron and non-sensitive clothing/shoes. It is not easy to work with nails that are too long, so please come with short-cut nails.
Children are welcome when booked with an adult over 18 years of age.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellation with refund, please contact us at least 3 days before your scheduled session. For rescheduling, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled session. Changes after this are not possible or refunded. No-shows are not refunded.
Upon refund, any discount will be offset.
