I loved designing this flying dragons place mat here by hand in my small UK based studio, dragons are one of my favourite subjects and this is one of my more sweet illustrations, of a purple dragon and baby red dragon, flying together. My place mats are all made here in the UK, in small sustainable quantities, sturdy mats made from thick eucalyptus hardboard and cork backed (for no slippage!) with a glossy melamine finish, which is heat and stain resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth — practical as well as beautiful!
