It is made of good quality brown Havana leather, and measures 2 ¼ inches (5.71cm) wide, and 39 inches (99.06cm) long. This means it will fit up to a size 35 waist. The back of the leather is deeply stamped and lettered with "Croupon 152”. There is a single slider still in place. The gold finished open claw buckle is in place. It retains some of its original gold finish, though it is lightly toned and faded. The reverse of this buckle is nicely marked with 'RZM UE8' with the stylized “A” for the maker F. W. Assmann & Söhne of Lüdenscheid. The UE8 marked stands for Uniformen Effekten | 8=Assmann, a mark we don’t normally see. This is a great find.
