Матір’ю одного з нащадків славнозвісної Роксолани стала інша українка з Поділля – Надія, яка в гаремі султана Ібрагіма Божевільного отримала ім’я Хатідже Турхан. Вона жила в буремні роки середини XVII століття, насичені повстаннями у провінціях Османської імперії, бунтами яничарів та крамарів у Константинополі, кривавими розправами, стратами й поваленням її чоловіка-султана. На долю Хатідже Турхан випало чимало випробувань та труднощів. Але як дружина правителя, а згодом і регент малолітнього султана Мехмеда Четвертого, вона їх стійко переборювала.
За правління сина Хатідже українські козаки на чолі з Богданом Хмельницьким та Петром Дорошенком у боротьбі за єдину вільну Україну отримали османський протекторат та діяли спільно з яничарами і кримськотатарським військом проти польського й московського гніту.
На жаль, постать цієї українки-султани, на відміну від Роксолани, є маловідомою в Україні.

It’s also not too stiff, unless you want that then you can easily iron it to be that way. I prefer it right out of the washer and dryer for a classy but cozy look! They are exactly like a set I’ve had my eye on in a fine linen store in Palm Beach. Exceptional value!
