Benefits

Maintaining your pet's oral and dental hygiene is crucial. Since they can't communicate when they’re in discomfort, regularly checking their gums and teeth is essential. Chewing on Zeal® Pet Treats aids in removing plaque and tartar buildup. Regular tooth brushing is also advisable!

Treats can be invaluable during training sessions: They help to keep your pet focused on you and the learning process, regardless of age. For training purposes, treats should ideally be small and easily swallowed, requiring little chewing so you can reward good behavior swiftly and frequently. The best training treats are relatively soft and roughly the size of a pea. Pets are less concerned with the treat's size; they are more impressed by the number of rewards. Larger treats are better suited for rewarding good behavior, as they require your pet to pause, chew, and savor them.

How to use dog treats effectively: The most efficient way to utilize treats is to reinforce a calm and submissive state. Avoid using treats to reward an excited or over-stimulated mindset. Always let your pet sniff the treat first, but hold it out of reach and wait. Keep in mind that pets, especially dogs, have an incredible sense of smell and can detect scents from more than 5 meters away, so there’s no need to bring the treat too close. Once they catch the scent, dogs may initially jump around or even leap on you. If this occurs, communicate your disapproval through your body language and attitude; your patience as an owner will be rewarded with a well-mannered pet. They will learn that a calm demeanor yields results, sitting quietly and looking at you in eager anticipation. At the moment of calm, reward them with the treat. Utilize treats to encourage a calm, submissive state instead of reinforcing excitement.

What types of treats are appropriate for your dog's or cat's breed, size, and age?
We suggest supervising your pet while they enjoy treats, especially when trying a new one. Many dogs tend to gulp down treats without chewing, so it's important to monitor pets of all sizes and ages until you're confident they can enjoy treats safely. Cats typically gnaw on treats rather than consuming them in an instant. Smaller dogs may find larger bones challenging, while bigger dogs might attempt to swallow medium-sized harder treats without chewing. Older pets with dental issues may require softer chews, so it’s essential to consider your pet's size and eating habits.

Feeding Guidelines

Don’t Overindulge ~ While it can be tempting when your furry friend begs for extras, be cautious and regulate treats. Treats should supplement your pet’s diet. Just like us, too many treats can lead to weight gain and disrupt the nutritional balance of your pet's diet, which must remain complete and balanced for their health. Ideally, treats should not exceed 10% of your pet’s daily caloric intake, so be sure to adjust regular meal portions to prevent weight gain, taking into account what they’ve consumed in treats during training sessions throughout the day. This also applies to treats given as general rewards for good behavior. Failing to do so may result in gradual weight gain, and excess weight can be detrimental to your pet’s health.

Treat Caution ~ We always advise that your pet enjoys treats under supervision, particularly when trying something new. Some dogs (though rare for cats) can be overly enthusiastic when it comes to tasty bites, which may lead to improper chewing and a choking hazard.

When to Offer Treats to Your Pet ~ The best time to give treats is between meals, rather than just before or after feeding. Choose a treat that your pet will relish. If you’re using treats as a training aid, they won’t be as effective immediately after your pet has eaten a full meal.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. Ensure the pouch is zip-locked to maintain freshness.

Color me impressed.
Size: 41 Inch Extra Long, Color: Rustic Brown, Size: 41 Inch Extra Long, Color: Rustic Brown
My husband and I were looking for a shelf to replace the one over our coffee station. We just needed more room for travel mugs and other assorted coffee items. Most of our kitchen is done in the wood and black metal tones so when we spotted this, we were excited. We placed it in the amazon cart and purchased. Shipping took a little while but it was packaged well and nothing was damaged. It came with everything needed to build and hang the shelf including the dry wall anchors. My husband was able to put it together fairly quickly but hanging it was a two person job. The shelf isn't SUPER heavy... but someone needs to hold it while the other person levels it and mark where to mount the anchors. Once it was up, it was sturdy and looks great! We're very happy with this product. It is perfect for what we wanted to do :)

Looks decent but is slightly under engineered
Size: 41 Inch Extra Long, Color: White Faux Marble, Size: 41 Inch Extra Long, Color: White Faux Marble
Five stars for packaging, quality of materials and instructions. It's a really good looking product out of the box. No scratches or defects in workmanship. Material fit and finish is very good. If you've ever assembled anything from Ikea, the hardware will seem familiar. The problems that led to me giving it 3 stars occur in the engineering. All of the weight transfer to the center with just four corner anchor points creates a sag. If you drop a 4' level across the top after installing, it's a noticeable 1/8" dip in the middle as gravity pulls on the unsupported center. If you're one of those people that notices an out of level picture on a wall from fifty paces, this is going to be a problem for you. Being that I knew it would only get worse with time and eventually make me insane, I installed a very small L bracket in the middle under the bottom shelf, pushing the entire thing up until the deflection was gone. I also tossed the anchors that came with it as those are for concrete/block walls and used metal EZ anchors that are rated for drywall. If you use the included anchors in 1/2“ drywall, there's a good chance they'll pull out. Toggle bolts would also be a good alternative. Another small detail that's missing is the lack of a plug or cover for the four exposed cams making up the vertical center support. Depending on your viewing angle and how much stuff you'll store will determine if these are visible or not. Including a simple white decal would have been reasonable. I used some white, stick-on melamine screw covers I had lying around to try and hide the cam locks better. Lastly, I wish this were made in plain white. While the faux marble somewhat matches our dining table, The veining is too pronounced. Plain white would have been better.

Finally the ESV Expository Commentary 12 volume set is complete. This series is a great resource for those who teach or preach from any translation of the Protestant canon. This is a huge book, filled with valuable insights about Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers. It’s essential for anyone interested in the Protestant understanding of the first four books of Torah.

Want to grow in your knowledge of the Bible? Then buy this book.
Format: Hardcover
If you wouldn’t dig into God’s word and go deep and learn more and more about the Bible, then this is your buy. It is so in depth that my goal of reading through the Bible in six months had to be pushed back because the information was so amazing and so in depth that I didn’t have time to read all each day and stay on my timeline

A Great Resource for Pastors
Format: Hardcover
While I have appreciated resources like this in the past, I will admit that I was not expecting to be as impressed as I was. This volume is significant in size (over 1300 pages of content) and the depth of scholarship in the passages I consulted thus far has been surprising and refreshing for an expositor’s type of commentary. While this is not a technical commentary by design, the authors are clearly in command of their field and bring the impact of their technical knowledge to bear on the way that they discuss the topics at hand. For instance, Jay Sklar, whose work I have deeply appreciated in his more technical work - including other commentaries on Leviticus - is the author of the Exodus section. His discussion of the ransom idea introduced in Exodus 21 is clearly influenced by the deep theological and textual work he has done elsewhere, yet the prose is imminently accessible and readable to the lay reader. So too does Christine Palmer present the Leviticus chapter. The treatment of Leviticus 16-17 is masterful and quite clear - with the sole exception that the distinction and connection between atonement as forgiveness and as cleansing could be more pronounced rather than assumed. Finally, the biblical-theological sensitivity of Iain Duguid’s Genesis chapter stands out with his treatment of Genesis 2:15 and the nuance of the Hebrew words ‘abad and shamar which have priestly connotations of worshipful obedience is very important and well done. Without being overly technical Duguid presents the reader with this important nuance to the human purpose in the garden and beyond. I am very pleased with this commentary’s content and look forward to other volumes as well. I highly recommend this as a helpful expositor’s commentary for pastors and for those interested lay readers who want to get another layer deeper in their Bible reading and development of biblical-theological sensitivities.
