- Make sure the built-in brush is clean
- Dip the clean brush into the gel eyeliner pot
- Dab it gently on the edge to remove excess eyeliner
- Trace a line from the outer corner where you would like your wing to end and determine how thick you want your wing to be
- Trace a line from the inner corner, extending it towards the outer corner of the eye to where you want your wing
- Paint small brush strokes from the wing endpoint along the lash-line to fill in any gaps until you reach the inner corner of your eye
- Repeat this motion to build the thickness
