The table has a distinct Danish appearance with beautifully shaped legs and swooping contours. This model is extremely popular due to the fact that it can be extended to seat 8-0 people, it features two extension leaves that can be used together or individually making it a very versatile dining table.

The table extends quickly and easily by simply pulling out the extension slides which are hidden at each end of the table, the extension leaf is then slotted into place. When not in use the extension leaves store neatly away underneath the table.

Has the gold Kofod larsen/Danish Design stamp to the underside of one of the extension leaves. G Plan's Danish Range was aimed at the top end of the market and reflects the essence of Scandinavian modernism during the 1960s. These pieces are rare, as they were significantly more expensive at the time than other G-Plan furniture.

In excellent restored condition, it is rare to have such a consistent colour throughout the extension leaves and main table. There may be some minor polished in marks as to be expected, please see photographs for more detail.
