Close It Quietly is a continual reframing of the known. It's like giving yourself a haircut or rearranging your room. You know your hair. You know your room. Here's the same hair, the same room, seen again as something new. Close It Quietly takes the trademark Frankie Cosmos micro-universe and upends it, spilling outwards into a swirl of referentiality that's a marked departure from earlier releases, imagining and reimagining motifs and sounds throughout the album. The band's fourth studio release is a manifestation of their collaborative spirit: Greta Kline and longtime bandmates Lauren Martin (synth), Luke Pyenson (drums), and Alex Bailey (bass) luxuriated in studio time with Gabe Wax, who engineered and co-produced the record with the band. Recording close to home- at Brooklyn's Figure 8 Studios- grounded the band, and their process was enriched by working closely with Wax, whose intuition and attention to detail made the familiar unfamiliar and allowed the band to reshape their own contexts.

Affordable and Effective

It’s really good for the price and super easy to apply. I would recommend having someone help with your back or harder-to-reach areas, because any spots you miss will definitely show if you’re out in the sun for a while. I’ve used this for a couple of years now, and it’s one I keep going back to. If you have more sensitive skin, there may be better options out there, but I personally haven’t had any issues with it so far.

This is really a great product and easy to use as a spray. I bike ride every day and my ears/face are exposed to the Florida sun. I use it primarily on my face every day. A moment after a quick spray, the product dries, is not sticky, etc. This will become a recurring purchase.

Good protection from the sun.

Does a good job keeping sunburns away. Spray sunscreen never lasts as long as rub-in sunscreen (ie, the bottles run out quicker) so it seems pricier to cover the whole family, but we keep this on hand for days we'll be outside!

I’ve been using this SPF for almost 2 years now and I still love it! The tint adjusts beautifully to my skin tone and gives such a natural, healthy glow without looking heavy or greasy. It applies so smoothly, feels lightweight, and has a very pleasant smell.
Most importantly, it doesn’t break me out at all, which is super important for my sensitive skin. I wear it almost every day and it works perfectly under makeup too. The packaging is also super convenient and easy to use, especially for everyday skincare and travel.
Definitely one of the best sunscreens I’ve ever tried — worth every penny!

My favorite Sunscreen

I’ve been using La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra-Light Fluid Facial Sunscreen SPF 40 for a few years now, and it’s still one of my favorite daily sunscreens. The formula is truly lightweight and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy or heavy on the skin. It layers well under makeup and doesn’t leave a noticeable white cast, which I really appreciate.
I also like that it provides reliable sun protection while still feeling comfortable enough for everyday use. Even after trying other sunscreens over the years, I keep coming back to this one because it works so well for my skin. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lightweight, non-greasy daily sunscreen.
