- Premium Nickel-55 (ENiFe-C1) cast iron repair maintenance stick welding electrode rods.
- AWS Classification: A5.15 ENiFe-C1. Core rod: 1/8" (3.2mm) dia. x 14" (350mm) length. Nickel-55 is with around 55% (wt.) nickel content in rod.
- ENiFe-C1 (Nickel-55) stick welding electrode is recommended for all-position joining and surfacing of cast iron, malleable iron and ductile iron to itself or dissimilar metals such as mild steel, stainless steel, wrought alloys or high nickel alloys.
- Can produce high strength, ductile weld deposits even when welding low grade cast iron containing excessive levels of phosphorus or other contaminants.
- With lower weld shrinkage stress which in turn reduces the possibility of weld or heat-affected zone cracking. Good machinability. Deposits are machinable. Carefully preheat weld parts and electrodes before welding for excellent results.
